Was surprised to hear on the radio pre-Portsmouth that Northampton had named an unchanged side for the first time since about February. Says it all really. Unfortunately, with McWilliams injured, looks like we'll be making at least one change to the starting line up.

Kasim to keep his place?

I'm predicting a 1-0 win thanks to another early goal, making it our first 9 points from 3 games since March.

Very specific and well reasoned. However, the expert pundit (that's me naturally) predicts a draw possibly 2-2.

Southend are a mess , they have about 10 injuries although Nile ranger will be fresh as he was blocked from playing due to his tag on Tuesday.

Sat behind a guy in spoons who was having a small break down regarding their start the season.

Poole in for me, but Kasim did little wrong on Tuesday so would not be worried if he started.

Everyone else the same as far as I am concerned.

Looking forward to seeing Poole get a chance in the team, but based on Tuesday Kasim deserves a go again.

And that's coming from someone wo when he was readying to replace McW said ' FFS, he is rubbish anyone but him'

Side note on Poole,  i cant imagine he or United are too impressed he is not playing!

A point away is a good result again the majority of L1 teams.

against the majority? so, are the majority of L1 teams 'easy' games? and why should we only expect 1 point from such games?

Southend are below us in the table so what happens to Cobb78's 'easier game' theory if we get pumped.

If they win they'll be above us so it was a harder game

so its an easier game at kick off, but then if we lose it will prove to be a harder game than we thought it would be, but one that we were expected to lose despite them being below us at the start

however if we draw, it will remain an easier game, and will be classed as points dropped, despite the fact that we would be a point better off than if we lose, which would be accepted as they would be above us.

should be simple - good teams finish higher up than bad teams - Page and JED were both awful when in charge.

That's Cobb78's mental illness I was on about. He twists everything so it looks like he's right all the time when he's not.

Someone gave him hard facts on the other thread but he's in own delusional world. He's the Kim Jong-un of the Hotelend.
