Hopeful that the football is at least watchable now, even if the results are not what we want.

That said, Crooks will be back and possibly Foley too. Are we 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 at the moment?

I would go with:

            Ingram

Moloney Ash Pierre Buchs

         Kasim Grimes

      Long Crooks Foley

               Revs

I would imagine that smith will be fit for this and it looks like Pierre is compost of favour.  It sounds like Poole was decent at defensive midfield so I guess he might get another go?

Is that your way of saying he's sh*t?

foley won't start - he isnt match fit

poole should start again by all accounts

looks like taylor and barnett are now first choice - despite barnett being an accident waiting to happen

other than that, who knows formation wise

wouldnt mind waters getting a run out though - not sure why he isnt flavour of the month

Afternoon chaps, whilst I failed with the scoreline last time out I have predicted 3 results in a row with 2 correct scores. Obviously this makes me the most accurate and knowledgeable contributor on here by miles. Therefore I think it's only fair to share the wealth and give you the opportunity as blood brothers to also enjoy the fortune that has come my way. As mentioned previously Bradford have scored 12 goals in their last 4 away games and will present a stern test of our mettle. 2-2, you heard it here first. By the way, no need to thank me, it's the least I can do, enjoy your winnings.

Agree with all of this except Poole. Wasn't that impressed with him and think that we'll return to a central midfield of Crooks and Kasim for Saturday. To me the biggest problem with Powell is that he's not really a winger. He never takes on his man on the outside, perhaps because he doesn't have the pace to beat him. Personally, if we want pacey wide players who might beat full backs and get crosses in I think Smith on the left and Waters or Hoskins on the right might be our best options.

Can understand why Pierre was originally replaced by Barnett as he made a couple of bad mistakes in JFH's first two games, but hope he returns as he's a far better player IMO.

Correct about Foley. The most for him will be coming on from the bench - maybe the same for Hoskins, must be close now.

As for the central defensive combination, I don't think Barnett is first choice but I think Ash Taylor is. So, JFH is looking at who is the best one to partner him, or he thought Barnett was the better option against the last two teams and the strikers they play - horses for courses.

I have very bad feeling about this one.

We have only beat them 1 time in 11 games with 3 draws and they're won 7.

However we didn't sound too bad against Wigan so hopefully we can sneak a draw. The Wankams are on a good streak with 1 loss in 8 games

Prediction a 1-2 loss with the Longmeister to score for us.

The question is who will play left midfield because no one is really good enough .
I would imagine Crooks will be stuck out on the right and wasted with Grimes and Kasim in the centre unless Poole replaces Kasim .
Literally anyone could play on the left . I wouldn’t be surprised to see Powell shoved out there .
Long and Revell up front .
I feel very sorry for Waters in all this

Didn't I read somewhere that they were hoping George smith would be fit for the Wigan game - if he just missed out then I would hope he'd be back for Saturday unless he's had a relapse?

As long as Powell doesn't play there I don't really mind.

Controversially i don't get all the Waters sympathy. He runs around lots and certainly gives his all. Does he actually create anything or score goals?

In fairness he should get a chance in his actual position, but still.

He hasn’t actually played up front since coming here - give the bloke a chance !
Instead we constantly pick the veterans that do very little

Good morning Cobblers. Hope you are all well.

Should be a few goals tomorrow. We are a lot more expansive in our play than the previous few seasons and play a totally different way than under Parkinson. There were shades of that last season under McCall, but still struggled to score and kill teams off last season when totally on top, costing us without doubt automatic promotion due to too many draws.

Early doors this season, our defence hadn't looked as tight as previous few seasons, throwing away a 3 goal lead at Walsall with 30 minutes to go being a prime example, when we were lucky to even come away with a 3-3 in the end. However, the last 3 games we seem to have tightened up considerably, the return of Romain Vincelot after a 3 game suspension seems to have done the trick helping to protect the back 4. The good thing for the mighty Bantams this season is our goal output, which has improved dramatically so far this season, especially on our travels, scoring 12 goals in the last 4 games in the league and checkatrade.

We do seem to hold the Indian sign over you in recent seasons, but I suspect tomorrow will be as tough a game against you for a few seasons. I would happily settle for a point to maintain our unbeaten run on the road against an improving Cobblers under JFH.

Good luck for the rest of season, after tomorrow of course!

See some fans writing Poole off after one game in midfield. Clearly a talented kid and highly rated at Utd so give him a chance. It's the young players that need a lil patience.

So just like Revell, how many would he score if played in the wrong position? Agree that he needs a chance in his best position.
