Any update on Eppiah? He's nearly made it to 3 weeks fit... Anyone would think the transfer window is looming He was in the squad last Saturday and made a late appearance in that game.

Massive blow losing Bowie in my opinion. Rate him highly and tricky to find another youngster with that level of ability and experience. Just hope we don't end up with another punt loan and Eppiah can stay fit.

How can you have four first choice full backs? Strange formation…

Seems like the Chronic are also thinking along the same lines as B&S, in that Sammy and Mitch will be the wing backs tomorrow? Could be an interesting/exciting watch, with three CBs, it might be the way of including them and all of the new signings into an attack minded formation? We'll either score loads or...... Looking forward to seeing how it pans out.

7 currently injured - 4-5 weeks for Odimayo and 3-4 for Bowie. Probably longer for Fox but waiting for confirmation. No timescale for Hylton and his knee problem. Haynes back in training (on the grass ) but Harrop now has a muscle injury. Burge could be in the squad on Saturday. Also, a couple more have minor problems that will be "worked on" before Saturday. I think that's covered it all By the way, why do we get so many muscle injuries?

So basically 1 guaranteed starter remains out injured but could be back for the weekend. 6 squad players remain injured. 2/3 of which would unlikely be in the matchday squad. I can’t see the crisis in all honesty.

Surely it is the job of the manager to make sure that with the correct signings he has the depth of squad to cover these injuries.

Finally some common sense. No doubt some of here will be shocked to hear that other squads have injuries as well. Reading some of the posts I thought it was only us! Maybe Clough is telling some white lies to rub the salt in the Cobblers wounds?

True. Depends on how many and in what position those injuries occur though. League two isn't like the Prem where clubs can carry essentially two first teams. Mind you certainly doesn't help if the solution the manager comes up with is to completely change the shape of the team and play wingers at fullback.

We can’t be any worse off than average for injuries…it’s no excuse.

Dav speaks sense. We aren't hit with injuries' to a particular part of the squad. Injuries are well spread with only 1/2 nailed on starters. It shouldn't be an excuse. GK CF ATTACKER MID / ATTACKER CM RB / CB LB

Mcgloire on the treatment table…. again!
It’s no exaggeration to say we’ve signed someone that gets injured as soon as they sprint full tilt or enter a 50/50. How’s this possible?
The challenge from yesterday was like something McWilliams jogs off about 15 times a game.
In hindsight, summer transfer window was a disaster. So much budget wasted on Mcgloire and Hlyton.
