Suprised we haven't recalled Liam Cross back from Leamington yet, he's been playing regularly and scored yesterday...

Big ask but perhaps no option but to give some game time for Tomlinson & Wyatt?

Never known an injury crisis like it and it's getting worse game by game...

After the last day farce of last season and these ongoing injuries, JB just be the unluckiest Cobblers manager ever.

Hopefully, supporters realise the gravity of the situation & will give some slack during the remaining games of this season as JB is powerless to change much...

Once the dust settles at the end of the season, the training routines/schedules definitely need to be looked into as something isn't quite right....also signing constantly injured players such as Harrop & Hylton doesn't help!

Hopefully, a siege mentality can see us at least stay in the play offs and if play offs confirmed with no hope of autos, just play the bloody youth team like Scunny did, in the hope we can get back some senior pros for the play offs.

It’s unlikely that 6 teams below us can/will overtake us. Having said that, if we drop to say 7th, our run of form going into them would give little chance of success.
As it is we’ve lost one game in months, so hopefully they can galvanise and pull some more results out of the bag. Hylton owes us, so about time he stuck a couple away, although he’ll no doubt be injured again before the seasons out.

I predicted yesterday that he would get a yellow card, I predict that if he starts again , he is more likely to get a red than score.

He has been a big disappointment for me - however when he came on yesterday I thought he added a touch of class, less s***housery and thought his booking was a bit harsh ……

His reputation goes before him, therein lies the problem.

Some of these players are not even getting game time at their loan clubs .

I'd rather a full bench of unproven youth teamers than a bench with zero subs!

Some fella called Ivan Toney was thrown in at the deep end with us...no idea what happened to him mind  Grin

There is no injury crisis.

We are not having to field Youth Teamers.

We cannot even find enough spaces on our expansive bench for our full-time professionals.

We don't even field the quality (loan) players that we have spent so long chasing.

Wake up and smell the Cobblers.

Brady's football career was all about winding people up.  Check the hair-style!

Confirmed that McGowan and Odimayo are out for the season, bringing the total to 7.

In a weird way I think the injury crisis has helped us over the last few weeks by enabling Brady to create a 'siege mentality' and to frame our form as surpassing expectations.

Brady has done a great job in the circumstances.

It will be a pleasure to hear of some reassuring news on McW, probably Sowerby and Sherring ?

Its also much much easier to pick a starting 11 when you only have 11 (reasonably) fit and (fairly) healthy players!

So, with Magloire, McGowan, Fox, Koiki, Odimayo and Maxted all with their season over there is finally hope that the remaining injured players could play some part in the remaining games, although not 100% fit.

Sherring, McWilliams, Harrop, Eppiah and Dyche could all bolster our squad in the coming weeks and that will certainly be a big bonus.

Sherring was out for a good period of time - probably the season , but was quite chipper on saturday .
McWilliams must be close but won’t do more than 20 mins
Eppiah - not sure we will see him again but who knows !

When was the last game we played and didnt either have someone come off injured or be ruled out for injury after the game. Feels like its been every game this season we have lost at least 1 player.

I think our close season focus needs to be on sports science, training, pre-match prep, post-match recovery, recruitment and black cats.
