Hopefully Jimmy is being clever and not ever giving a clear answer on KvV so the opponents don't know what they're getting until the day of the match. Preparing for facing Long is a different prospect to facing the big man I would think.

From the Chron:
There are no fresh injury concerns for the Cobblers from the weekend defeat at Fleetwood, and there is good news on injured pair Aaron Pierre and Aaron Phillips, who have both been out long term with thigh injuries.
Pierre was back out with the first team squad at Moulton College this morning, going through the warm-ups, while Phillips is also back out running again.

We really miss Pierre . Much better than Turnbull . Another JED signing .

I quite liked Turnbull after his first few appearances.
One thing I did notice Saturday though was how many times he headed the ball into a dangerous position halfway between our box and the centre circle. I couldn't work out if our invisible midfield was at fault for this or if it was just him having a 50p head.

Great news, Pierre has been missed.

Agreed. I really liked his attitude on the pitch. Could tell he was taking every loss personally and really told a teammate when he felt they should be performing better.
I also feel Taylor played better alongside Pierre. Not sure if it's just my memory playing tricks though...

Pierre had a wobbly start but was just starting to show some good form before he got injured.

Pierre and Taylor definitely our best centre back option.

Taylor still just being disclosed as "unavailable". Do we suspect he will be looking elsewhere in January?

Not sure what the obsession with Ash Taylor is.......
Are you happy with the current results?
If so, let's just support something which we've not seen for a while - played 3, lost none..........
He will be back in the side when the time is right. But, when the current back 3 have done so well, he needs to open some doors. Simple as......

Taylor has looked poor but what concerns me more, is how easily he loses his temper with other players when it's usually his mistake.

Both Taylor and Barnett "unavailable", obviously something going on. Lets just hope Turnbull, Pierre and Facey stay fit until Jan - not sure we have any other viable CB options.
