Not good news that, we need a Striker in Jan more than ever.

Just a suggestion but perhaps we should give Max Dyche a run there. He may be better able to win the aerial duels than our present attack.

In the past we have had several Centre Forwards/ Centre Halves who were able to successfully transition between the two positions.

Tongue in cheek surely. He'll walk back into the side considering our other options on the striker front.

Yeah, a bit. If we win every game whilst he is absent then we won't have missed him that much. It took him an age to start getting the goals.

I think the point is that people will be crowing about injuries and lack of strength in depth if we are 10 points clear at the top.
One thing that is definitely a Cobblers trait of old is for injury recovery to take far, far longer than you'd expect it to. Maybe they'll recover a bit quicker now we are flying!
All teams have injuries, we need to crack on, which we are doing very nicely with the easier games to come  Tongue  Smiley

You'd think that Danny Rose would benefit from Max challenging and winning his fair share of aerial duels against lumbering Centre Halves. They could form an old fashioned smash and grab sort of relationship. The other two (Benny and Kabamba) don't look like either.

And we would rather have these injuries as we approach the transfer window than get them months before or weeks after
Good timing  Wink

In view of the recent upsurge in Premier League Covid cases I do worry about potential outbreak for us. Does anybody know which safeguards JB has in place for Covid security?

"Benny went down before the game"
Before, during and after no doubt, had he played!

Why do you keep giving these hints? Is there a reason why you can't just tell us what you know, or does it make you feel more important?

Omicron.

Thank you, why couldn't B&S just say that instead of being the 'man of mystery'?  Huh?

Omicron.

Is this your educated guess or do you know something most of us don't? If true, how many players are affected?

Surely if we are suffering with many niggling injuries the best policy would be to slip the doctor something, declare us all positive and get a few games off?

Sneak a bit closer to January.

No mention of Omicron, or has that developed since this report?

If the virus was rife we'd already be talking about potential postponement. It'll be rife in the stands!

Hinted, but why did you feel that you had to be the man of mystery and not reveal it like Manny did?
Do you revel in the "knowledge is power" high?
