If I hear Sammy the GOAT is injured I’ll start worrying. A good chance for our exciting untried talent to shine. With all due respect it’s Harrogate and not Man City we’re playing. Their keeper is injured so hopefully test the no.2. I’m sure they’ll make some changes after their drubbing on Saturday.

Recall some youth if need be or better still give me a call.
49 years young, eye for goal and once met Diego Simeone in the Vatican.
Knees are not what they were so I’ll fit right in. I did sell my Predators but still have a pair of Patrick’s knocking about.

Sheff United did OK last night with a shed load of injuries.

Some of these fringe players need more time before they are written off. How many minutes did he persist with Hylton until he discovered he wasn’t worth a place? Mainly driven no doubt by the wage we were forking out. You can’t give them 10,20,30 minutes and expect them to play like Messi.
If the current form continues he hasn’t got a lot to lose.

Have you ever considered that Hylton was unable to play more than half an hour ?

If that was the case when we signed Hylton it was a huge mistake bringing him in.

You missed the point. Hylton got a lot more opportunities than the new batch look like getting.
As above…some due diligence should have been performed before whipping the cheque book out if he is that crocked.

He isn’t going to get criticism for throwing them in, just criticism for signing them if they are Sunday league players which seems to be the suggestion. I doubt Stoke think DWP is, unless it’s a case of players not hacking the league two life, which is always possible. There’ll be plenty of higher league players who would struggle at the basement, we’ve had a few of them.

Poor Tyler seems to have a ratio of about 3 games to every injury.

Still got another season of the injury prone non scoring Hylton to look forward too!

Should never have been given a straight 2 year deal...not hindsight...look at his injury recorded before he joined us!

Massive chunk of next seasons budget used up before we've even started!

Does anyone know exactly what is wrong with Hylton and when he is likely to be back? All I can remember hearing is that he was injured training on an artificial pitch.

He has atrophy in his lower leg muscles and the skin is sagging on the thighs causing undue pressure to his dorsal fin.

I said at the start of the season I think this will be his last professional contract. As the weeks tick on it seems more and more likely.

A lovely guy. I hope he’s thinking of the next steps with all his time out.

He’s a good player when fit, I guess when your are always shopping in the bargain bucket you have to take a pünt on injury prone players, Eppiah and Hylton.

The amount of muscle injuries we have had this season seems strange

Is it something to do with training etc

Wilder championship season I don't remember many hamstring injuries at all

Maybe something we need to address with a new strength and conditioning coach

The Club have just tweeted that Koiki is now out for the season - it wasn’t a great decision to let him play lay on after picking up the injury.

The injury situation is getting silly!

EVERY game this season we have had at least 3 or 4 first teamers injured!

It highlights how well the squad is doing to be in 4th presently.

I can only think of the Atkins season being worse, when we had over 10 operations on players!

How many of the injuries are muscular?

It must be something were doing no?

I recall going through a similar period 5 of so years ago.

We changed the strength and conditioning team (a guy called Pablo rings a bell) and it worked wonders the following season.
