Great move by the club , nice to see them moving with the times.

A lot of clubs are now sponsoring 3-pointer teams, especially on the continent. English clubs have been behind the trend to be honest.

FIFA ultimate team alone makes $800 million a year and the Intel extreme tournament hit 46 million unique viewers in March . E-sports and the related YouTube channels are big big business now.

Agreed, sounds like we have some sponsorship money from GAME, a new games area to improve the match day experience (Beds will be over the moon), and as you say E-sports is growing and other teams are also using it to promote themselves. Seems like a good thing all round. Others will find fault though, i'm sure.

Whilst it does seem a little odd, it is a great move for the younger supporter and the club.

We get some sponsorship and exposure, kids love FIFA and can now say this guy plays for us etc etc.
