Without injury time played I make it 588 minutes since a Cobblers player scored a goal!! Yet Bristol Rovers can score 5 in 29 minutes!!

AFC next up....the lowest scorers in the division, however they have only conceded 14 in 12 games too.......0-0 draw anyone?!

I reckon we’ll win, seriously, in my book the most likely outcome of yesterday is a bit of a shuffle and a big response.

We need a big reshuffle and a big look at the tactics. This probably sounds counter intuitive with our lack of goals but I'd go with one up front and 5 in midfield. I also wouldn't go with either Revell or Richards as we have no width and aren't getting many crosses in, ideally I'd have Long but with him out either Walters or Hoskins, someone nippy to utilise balls played through the defence. Hopefully with a midfield five we could keep possession and support from deep. Obviously if we resort to the usual hoofball this would be a disaster!!

I sometimes like a decent hoof - puts pressure on defenders to head the ball well , but mostly anywhere! The only caveat is that we need a fine centre forward, that Harrison of BR would do nicely!

ps Dont need a big reshuffle. Leave the defense alone inj. permitting. Richards, Waters and Hoskins up front and hope the ball runs for us. Grimes,McWilliams JJOT or Bowditch as middle 3.
