Explain please.

I didn’t mean anything by it apart from the fact that on the pitch we are totally bereft of inspiration or confidence, we haven’t scored in living memory, key players are looking like complete novices, the east stand development is a shambles, a director has resigned and we still haven’t been told why etc - I think anyone would agree that nothing positive is coming out of the club at the moment.

The only difference today was that AFC weren’t as good as Rovers. We were equally s***.
If that’s the players reacting from last week god help us.

Waters, Powell, Pierre, Buchanan, foley (maybe harsh) kasim, Revs, Rico, none of  Head are good enough for league one. Add them to having moloney looking seriously out of form (he looks injured) crooks injured, Hoskins and Jon joe will need time to get match sharp. What are we actually left with? Even grimes seems to have lost any ability he had when he joined.

Doomed.

Hasselbaink can f*ck right off. What a useless conman he's turned out to be. And the comments after the game were bewildering bordering on disgraceful. Don't treat the supporters with such little respect you overpaid and overhyped fu*king letdown. Take the majority of the players with you as well. Absolutely furious after that. Complete clearout needed to take on League Two next year.

What we witnessed today was rubbish football from both sides who on today's showing will be playing each other in League 2 next season.

I hope JFH's post match comments were just his attempt to protect the dressing room.  If not, he is living on a different football planet to the one I inhabit.

You said it. Very harsh on Foley as he's only just recovered from injury. As for naming Buchs - he was one of the better performers today.

Grimes is very disappointing, particularly his set piece delivery. Powell is not good enough, although he did produce the best shot on target in the first half. Moloney doesn't look fit, likewise McGugan. Hanley once again left out but Smith included - what's going on with those two?

Too many changes all the time, the players can't get any rhythm or understanding going.

With post-match out-of-touch views like that he'll become Sacklebaink by January and we'll once again be up the creek with no paddle. First thing is to find two pacy forwards. We have two young ones out on loan, stick 'em in there, it can't be any worse. The pace of Waters and Hoskins was ok today but they were generally fed rubbish ball. I'd keep them in there too.

Obviously foley needs the time he just doesn’t look like the type of player we need.
We will have to disagree on buchs, I don’t think he offers much, gets caught out of position too easily at the back and offers absolutely nothing going forward. He was also driving me mad today with how slow he was taking the throws. Plus the fact we always hear how we need leaders on the pitch at this time, where’s his leadership? He’s just one of many I’d ship out.

I think the idea was for the ball to hit open space down the channels and in behind for Hoskins and Waters to run onto, but no one seemed capable of that.
No idea why he brings everyone back for set pieces, maybe with 5 mins to go it was to limit our losses. I thought he should have started with Poole and McWilliams as holding defensive midfielders and McGugan, Grimes and Bowditch behind Hoskins.
Why did he replace Hoskins with Foley and why did he leave Smith on the bench?
We miss Crooks badly.
Wimbledon were a poor imitation of Bristol in their use of width and pace but they were still too good for us to beat today.
Utter dross, don't know where we go from here.

BR lost at home today! By and large the same moaners who were on here last Saturday are back in force cheering us all up with their constructive comments...not. I thought that Grimes had a poor game , his passing was poor, didn't notice Poole at all. Taylor played ok , Pierre not so well. Moloney and Buchs did ok. Very disappointed with Hoskins who on todays has not got a footballers brain. Can see Hass tactics ; long ball behind their defence for Waters and Hoskins to chase. Trouble was the passing to the front two was hopelessly overhit with a few high ball gems which were easy meat for the oppo. We go again and as Shoey says don't lose the faith. The trouble is for the first we are getting a bit left behind. We simply have to try and grind out a few draws now. By the way their goal was pure comedy; some good tackles by us with the ball going their way; then the icing on the cake with a fortunate ricochet going their way. When your luck is down its hard.

Obviously JFH is trying to protect his players.  Doing an interview and saying they are rubbish does no good for anyone.

Lots of people saying he needs wingers and strikers. I'm sure he knows that, the fact they he brought smith and Hanley into the side and persists with Powell confirms it! But he has to wait until January!!!!

Dunno about protecting the players, with that cloud cuckoo interview I think he is protecting himself!
Certainly not looking promising. Why can't we pick a manager?! This one is a bit more of an expensive mistake.

You didn't notice Poole at all? That's because he was on the bench, however he did warm-up a few times!

Did they, so just how bad must we be then?!
You criticize others for their lack of constructive comments but I don't read too much positivity on your post either Evers, and with good reason...we're not very good atm.
Did Poole play today... Maybe that's why he went unnoticed by you?
I think Shoemakers posts were mostly ironic.
I'd say we need more than a few draws right now.

, it was actually worse than last week! For 20 minutes or so last week we were competing, today, no spark, no passion no pride, abject lack of responsibility, devoid of any creativity and that of course was against a poor side at home! If JFH didn't hold back last week why do so this week. If he really believes that performance was anywhere near acceptable he is clearly the wrong person for the job. As for the side. Can't think of one player aside from Ingram (again) who came out of it with any credit. Hoskins just confirms he can't cut it (a short Revell, running around like a headless chicken), Waters not up to life in this Division, Powell should be nowhere near the first team, midfield (err what midfield). Really disappointing, Page and Edinburgh started the rot, JFH has been dealt some poor cards but he should not be defending that performance

Looking at the results that gillingham, bury and Oldham got today it is obviously possible to set a struggling team up with organisation and discipline to grind performances out. Sad to say the honeymoon period aside we have started to regress if anything - surely the sign of any decent manager/coach is the ability to get the maximum out of what they have available, granted he has been left a crap hand but he should be getting more out of them than this.

I think you are being unusually generous with some of those marks! Can't see Jimmy going anywhere unless he walks. Can you really see KT sacking another manager before next year? I don't, and I don't think Jimmy does either, and that in part explains his 'relaxed' attitude.

I’m going to moan about the moaners then have a moan myself, yeah ok  Roll Eyes

It feels so much more worrying knowing we’ve got two and a half months of these players. We aren’t capable of keeping a clean sheet and don’t look like scoring, I dread to think what the table will look like by January.
