I know it's early in the week to start this, but I just want to forget about Saturday and move quickly on to the next.

And next is AFC Wimbledon (the one and only Dons). We've scored 8 they've scored 5. Therefore, what about a 5-5 this Saturday  Grin

Revell will be missing through suspension and possibly Moloney will be added to the ever lengthening injured list.

We certainly need a morale boosting victory, do we think we'll get one?

I really hope so. The players and management should be hurting badly and want to put the Rovers game behind them, whatever team is picked.Losing would be catastrophic and really place us in a season long relegation scrap , if we're not careful, where as winning would give us confidence going into the Gillingham game.

Some of those players need to put more effort in and show that it hurts a bit more .
I will name who I’m talking about
Pierre
Bowditch
Powell

They look like their heads go when it gets tough .
Rico , Revell ,Crooks , Kasim , Barnett ,Buchanan need to up their game considerably .
Moloney , Ingram ,McWilliams , Poole ( one game excepted ) Taylor , Hoskins , Hanley , Long and Grimes have done ok
The others Haven’t played enough

I find it a bit odd with Pierre. When he played against us for Wycombe he looked outstanding and a complete rock at the back, whereas this season everytime the ball goes near him I fear something nasty will happen. Is it confidence, or has he been found out by the better players and better standard in League one?

Add to that he used to terrorise us at set pieces going forward & score....we did see early signs of this ...but thats evaporated now.

A shadow of his former self.

Right SX and to add his passing/hoofing is absolutely awful.  Yet he came to us with a high reputation.

Harsh on our top scorer Crooks, no coincidence since he's gone out the side we look completely toothless.

McWilliams has been a big miss. Have we scored since his injury?

Yes, but we haven’t scored since first, Long and then second, Crooks got injured. I think the bit of pace and desire Long offered has been the difference.

16 year old Cameron McWilliams shouldn't start a league game for us having played 0 minutes for the senior team in his career. I assume you are basing your suggestion that he is good enough for a starting place on the fact that he sat on the bench in a Checkatrade trophy match for us? Remember that plenty of academy youngsters have been called up (several made appearances for us in pre-season friendlies this summer) and haven't had a look-in since. Just because Shaun McWilliams looks to be a good prospect, doesn't mean that his brother will be any good whatsoever.

A better solution is to have Smith at LB and Buchanan cover at RB.
