I would play Buchanan at right back as he has played there before in an emergency, put Poole in as a defensive midfielder with McWilliams and play Grimes in the centre of 3 with Hoskins replacing Hanley who I don't rate. Hoskins and Waters could regularly swap sides to mix play up. We need as much strength in the holding positions as possible to protect the back 4. I would not want to waste a shirt by playing Richards at all, and would recall Iaciofano to play up front. At least we would have pace and mobility and wouldn't lose anything more in the air as Richards is incapable of getting his feet off the ground and winning anything anyway.
Update
“He’s not training,” Hasselbaink said of Moloney, who was forced off 42 minutes into Saturday’s 6-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers at Sixfields. “We want to know for sure what he has so we sent him for a scan this morning.

“We don’t think he has a tear, but we don’t know for sure. We think he might be okay for Saturday.

We always get hammered by Bristol Rovers. May as well just accept it now. Just like we NEVER lose to AFC Wimbledon.

Easy 3-0 win.

Same starting XI as we played at MK away, swapping Crooks for Hoskins & Revell for Richards.

Ingram
Buchs Taylor Pierre Smith
McWilliams Poole
Grimes Crooks Hoskins
Long

If that team is selectable it is easily good enough....

Crooks is injured. Waters on the right and Grimes in the centre would work.

I don’t know how we will beat Wimbledon .
We are relying on Hoskins or Grimes coming off.
Both have to play in an advanced role for any creativity at all.
McGugon is miles off being fit and Rico rarely wins anything now .
Furthermore , if Moloney isn’t fit we are likely to concede from the right hand side .
On the positive side , Foley should have a better game and Poole will hopefully come into the middle and shore us up .
We will be lucky to have more than 5 shots .

I'm hoping Moloney and Long will be fit, then we can go with:

                       Ingram

         Moloney  Ash Pierre  Smith

                 Poole  McWilliams

           Hoksins    Grimes    Hanley

                           Long

I would put C.McWilliams in if Moloney is not fit (despite peoples reservations and because we need Poole in midfield) and Waters in for Long if he is not fit.

Poole and McWilliams will offer the protection the back four have not had lately and will leave Grimes free to roam about (hopefully not just in front of the back four again though).

Reasonable pace in Hanley and Hoskins, although you could bring Buchs in and put Smith on the wing also. Long is the best striker we have if fit.

Saw maloney this morning, looked like he was catching a lift to training.

Long isn’t fit and Moloney may not be either .
You wouldn’t play Waters up front on his own in replacement of Long .
I think he has to try Waters with Rico up front but I doubt he will .
He could play Hoskins behind Rico in the hole though, or can Grimes there .

With Pierre in the team we are always likely to concede.
I'm sorry but KT has to take some of the blame for the shower of Sh1t we have recruited.
FFS half the team is now loans.

In what way does KT take the blame for the recruitment?? And I'd say the loanees are probably some of our best players! Ingram is our best GK, Long our best attacker, Grimes our most creative midfielder. Poole...undecided.

Agree on Pierre, I've said from the start he's an accident waiting to happen.
