I do keep this conundrum turning over in my mind from time to time.
Prerequisites:
Close to Northampton ish Conference or above Not Peterborough or Oxford
The obvious contenders are MK Dons, Luton, maybe Leicester or Coventry? But I usually end up with Wycombe.
Thoughts?

I'd drop down the levels and follow Kettering, I often go to their games anyway.

Would switch to non league......a much better experience in so many ways, anyway.
Would fully expect NTFC to rise again as a phoenix club and that could be quite a trip !

Brackley. But only the current team. At the minute I wish it was them over us.

I went to the Nantwich v Kettering cup tie last Saturday, enjoyed it and i got to see a goal from a northants team Back in the 1960s when the cobblers were away i used to watch the poppies but i have always followed the cobblers so if there was no cobblers its kettering .We once played Kettering in the fa cup.Back in 1961 at the county ground ,we won 3-0 Cliff holton hat trick and the attendance 18,825.

Kettering , with the hope they continue to climb, if not, Sileby are a few minutes walk from home and I would have to pass/ go into/ the Lumbertubs there and back.

I follow Oxford City...and will be at Colchester in the FAC.
However, if there really was no Cobblers, think Birmingham City or possibly Sheffield United. Having said that, in the eighties, I used to travel with West Ham quite a bit!

I don't mean this in any nasty way but it's totally pointless from my perspective - my grandparents and other much-loved relatives followed the Cobblers - the team that represents my community. There'd be no reason to look elsewhere. If our club folded up I'd just do something else with my time and money.
