Glad you felt the need to quote me twice.  Grin

So he should have not played for his country or played injured then?

Still don’t think your claim regarding our fan base/undesirables is correct.

Just one side point. Why do Cobblers fans abuse ex players (eg. Lee Martin) when they did nothing wrong while playing for us and left the club through no fault of their own? I think it's sometimes counter productive, in Martin's case he seemed to up his involvement in the game. When do we know that any player might not be considered for a return to the club? We gave JJOT quite a lot of abuse at Southend whilst he was out on loan and look what happened after that? He could have decided he maybe shouldn't come back after that game. OK, a bit of banter adds to the atmosphere maybe but is this the best way of achieving vocal support?

Agree mate, so petty. What did he even do wrong for us? I was actually pleased when he scored and the morons in front were shut up.

Fair enough, you probably attend more away games than me but I see enough of it at home games to disagree.

Not having it about Zak though.

About 100 of them in South End of the West. That's about 2%. Even if it was 500,which I doubt it would be about 11%.  Personally I think you are unjustly maligning our fair minded loyal supporters.

OK give up you are right.

I didn't feel pleased that he had equalised, but more to the point it didn't shut up said "fans"; who were mostly at the rear of the stand in any case.

Surely all the Toughs are in the South End of the West - that's were all the chants and interaction with the away end appears to be.
How did Oxford City do at the week-end?

'Toughs' is the most excruiatingly embarrassing expression...worsened only by twats who say 'awesome'...but even so, does that infer everyone is one or connected to a handful of twats directing abuse at Zakuani?

Not sure what OCFC has to do with proceedings...but lost at Hemel I think! I was in Wantage, birthplace of Alfie the Great!
I'll be at Col U away with OCFC though!  Wink

I managed to tune in to most of the 2nd half on my phone whilst in a pub in some tiny little Scottish village near Wick (10 miles from John Joe O'Groats)

The locals all found my celebrations rather entertaining, indeed one of them bought me a pint at the final whistle!  Grin

Will it finally get us moving though? Time will tell. I still cannot fathom out why we got 2 wins and a draw from Jimmy's first 3 games before slowly getting worse, culminating in the Bristol battering.

Powell aside, Saturdays team selection made total sense and after the Fruit Machine finally paid out, perhaps Jimmy was right to change another tenner at the bar. But even Platt scored occasionally!  Grin

Considerably more optimistic though than I was at half time last Tuesday evening. Im cautiously optimistic about Saturday, providing we stick to the more sensible team selections that we've seen on the road in the last week. Wimbledon of course was brought about by all of our forwards being unavailable so I will give JFH some slack for that one!
