Sick of hearing politicians from all party's bang on about the people's vote. The people voted out now lets get out. We are a democracy so no second referendum so Jeremy Corbyn fcuk off
I think this is a rather naive take on things.
I rather like the analogy I heard a while back; say you go into a travel agent and are offered a dirt cheap holiday to a resort you've never heard of. They show you photos of beautiful, tranquil beaches and describe it as a lovely, relaxing place so you take their hand off and book a trip for you and your whole family. You go rushing home, excited to tell everyone, look it up on Google and find that this resort is actually in one of the ISIS controlled areas of Somalia.
Once you realise you've been sold something on the back of a bunch of lies and half truths, do you:
a) press ahead with the holiday regardless because you said you'd go now
Or
b) reevaluate your decision and take issue with the travel agent?
Granted, this doesn't hold true for everyone who voted Leave, but a significant amount of people who voted Leave
were heavily swayed by the now widely debunked propaganda spewed out by the Leave campaign. Now the facts are known and the realities of leaving the EU have become clear, isn't it only sensible to say "OK, does everyone still want to do this?" If they do then so be it, but doesn't it make sense to at least ask the question?
