Well worth the win on the balance of play but JFH is clearly setting out his tactics not to lose - a frustratingly large number of players deep which a better team than Blackpool would have exploited - however given our clear limitations up front whilst not good to watch is absolutely the right approach to not getting relegated.

Absolutely correct MOM call - nurtured properly McWilliams is destined for better things.

Delfouneso was on the left wing first half, up again McWilliams, didn't get a sniff, probably why he was moved.

No, he started on the right and caused a ton of problems for Buchanan, everything came down the right, then around the 20-25 min he switched to the left. Second half he was up front.

Must of missed that bit, or fell asleep. Why was he moved to the left if he was causing problems on the right, would be my question?

I think I must of been falling asleep because I've just watched the extended highlights and 'Founeso was always on the left! I think it must of been Mellor that impressed me for a small period, I got to the point where I wanted to check his number to find out and no 30 must of drifted over.

I can remember ''tesco" definitely playing down the left 1st half and it took McW a few goes to get to grips with him. Looked dangerous for a bit and was surprised they moved him upfront where he was less effective. Another thing his lay offs were not particularly effective.

One thing that worked well for us on Saturday was McWilliams ability to break up the play/intercept the pass and then break forward quickly.

He played Long in a couple of times this way, I can't see Moloney getting back into the team at this rate unless Poole is going to make way in the middle.
