Playing a weakened side seems like we don’t want to win this. I just don’t get it, why is the league game more important? If you lose the league game at least you have 45 others to gain points from...in the cup it’s one off, lose and you’re out!!
Maybe the lure of Donny away, £18,000 for winning in the first round and a potential big gun in the third round isn’t enough, maybe the lure of a week off at the beginning of December wins the day!!
Very weak sides in the Checkatrade, slightly stronger in the Carabao, and a weak side in the FA Cup....sad to see the state of affairs in English football!
