Bring back Iaciofano and Lobjoit.

We can't score goals, Joey is scoring them in abundance.

I don't care that they are at a lower level, they should be given a chance to show what they can do as the strikers we have don't seem capable of hitting the net.

I don't think anyone will get on the back of a homegrown talent, people around me are very accommodating of young Shaun McWilliams and constantly offer encouragement even when things are not going his way.

Lobjoit is a bit of a ****, but one thing he does have is pace. Would at least give us some striking options until January.

I agree bring back Joey to have on the bench - There was nobody on that bench last night who had the ability to turn again.

Richards offers nothing at all.

I would have him back just to have something different from the bench

Pretty much, there is no sugar coating it.

Thankfully we keep pulling out random good results (Oxford for example) and there are teams around us that are equally as bad.

If we cannot beat those teams though, we could be in for survival by the skin of our teeth. Hopefully Mansfield might have a need for a few more ex-Cobblers in January (one of those scored last night as well).

Your right about Richards, but disagree on Joey. I prefer to see him loaned at a higher level than currently playing at. To risk him against the likes of Bury and Oldham maybe counter productive. Not certain if you have thought the lads future through other than an a knee jerk(s).

Well, I was right hey!

This is more fact though isn't it, realistic view.

I kind of agree about the players but playing devils advocate..

Pierre - has he ever played in L1? (Genuinely don't know)
Foley - been relegated lots
Waters - again, ever done it at this level?
Powell - done okay at this level but is very much a mid table player at absolute best.
Moloney - when we signed him wasn't it because he wasn't cutting it at Yeovil?
Crooks - we need to settle on his proper position, again never played at L1 though
Bowditch - lower mid table player at best
Long - young and going to be inconsistent. Shouldn't be our main striker.

Crooks has played at league 1 level, with Scunny last season on loan. That's the reason they also wanted to sign him in the summer.

I am afraid your idea of facts to mine (and probably others) is somewhat different. Your realistic view is pure defeatism or at best typical knee jerk reaction. So your reaction is to call the team "sh!te" - so soon after Oxford! Why don't you grow a pair and offer reasoned proposals how to get out of this poor run. At least pick a team which might do the job!

Must say, we seemed to play like Oxford United at their worst - too much tippy tappy sideways passing, though to be fair, there were one or two well timed diagonal long ball passes which reached their target...just that ball then into the box (Grimes was it?) and tepid finishing letting things down.

Do like going to Plymouth, though it was never going to surpass the last time down there...also on a Tue night! When driving in and seeing 'Welcome to the Ocean City'for me adds something almost magical! Their Port rivals (Pompey) have a community spirit around their city but imo, there's more to being a Janner!

Also, mention for the Argyle programme. Despite the rather unnecessary half/half upside down format - simply brilliant! Loads on the Cobblers, past, present, ground. Reviews of their 330 mile each way trip to Bradford (to be completed again next Sat!) and not just ads, sponsors pics...and a silly dragon!

Yes whoopee for their die hard's. It must take something extra when you follow the teams at the ends of the country. But our die hard's deserved something MUCH better than the, well, sorry, but tripe that was served up. Plymouth were are poor outfit, yet seemed to make better decisions all-round and more effective use of the ball. Unless our players were stood 10 yards sideways we seemed to lose any clue and it simply isn't good enough. We have some supposedly better standard players and not even the excuse of them being kids, they're not. And I know this may seem overly critical (or moany) but I am tired of being given fed doggy-doo and being told it's Nutella.

Yeah you are right mate, we ain't s***e. 2nd from bottom points wise. Can't score goals. Can't stop goals going in. It's okay though. We'll be fine. No need for realism.

I don't pick the team as I'm not the manager of the football club.

You are off your rocker.

Just seen the highlights on the Chron site .
It doesn’t reflect well on Pierre who looks like he’s a blind man playing with a manhole cover on his back.
No wonder JFH didn’t look impressed with him in his post match interview .
We also just back off with supporting midfielders ambling about as they attack .
Some of our players are not putting it in by the the evidence presented on film .

It could be worse. Not sure who's below us in the table, but they must be really bad.
