Based on the last three managers, statswise they've all been much of a muchness. Page got more points than the other two, Page got more goals than the other two, but Page didn't have the luxury of spending a load of money on his players or having had a load spent (in the case of JFH).
Page had the luxury of a 99 point title winning Cobblers side. A lot of blame starts with him in my opinion.

Good shout. Take the 6-0 out of the equation and it would look even better.
Good shout? Shall we take the 3 0 Sc***horpe out as well?

Only if we can take Jed’s 4-1 defeats to Charlton and Boro out, as well as Pages 0-5 reverse to Bristol Rivers last season. In fact let’s just take anything out that doesn’t suit!!

I doubt that. Probably more to losing Wilder and our one & only true star - Holmes. It seems to me that we as a Club and Supporters have not fully recovered from that twin disaster. Now JFH is now under scrutiny.

I agree with this. OK Ricky and Nicky Adams wanted to leave BUT were still under contract, which put NTFC in the driving seat, they should have left under our terms, 1. They can go when we get an adequate replacement and 2. We get a realistic fee. Plus Page froze out Byrom and didn't want Marquis and Collins but replaced them with inferior players, plus he wouldn't sign anyone if they weren't Welsh

Plus Page froze out Byrom and didn't want Marquis and Collins but replaced them with inferior players, plus he wouldn't sign anyone if they weren't Welsh Byrom was basically replaced with Danny Rose for the closing part of the season anyway. Can accept he probably wasn't up to League One standard. I, for one, am excited to see what Chinese money and JFH can summon in January. It really will be the difference between League One and League Two next season.... but more importantly (for me), the difference between entertaining football and the dull shambolic performances we're currently putting up with. I honestly expect our half season ticket sales to be sat in single digit figures.

I think you're right about half season ticket sales. What incentive is there to getting one? Boring, attack-less football isn't going to bring the punters in. It really is a big transfer window and one that could make or break the JFH reign.

The worry is that the Chinese may well just be happy enough with the foothold they have and may not actually care about the FL level we play at enough to stick their hands into their money pockets again: certainly sitting near a group of them at a relatively recent home game they were laughing and joking and didn't seem to be sharing the pain and horror of the rest of us. If they buy us out of this malaise then fair play to them BUT they may just ride the horror train like the rest of us and shrug their shoulders.

So, unless JFH picks up a win at Pompey he'll have the same win ratio as Jed. Goalscoring is also well down, we have failed to score in THIRTEEN of his 25 games in charge. We have managed 5 clean sheets in the 25 games though, JED only managed 4!

Just out of interest, have we had a spell like this before with the serious lack of goals?
I can remember lots of hammerings over the years, plus our 20 match winless run in the 90s I just don't know if my memory is being selective regarding scoring goals.
