Someone elsewhere has suggested at least 4 will be leaving;
Coddington, Kasim, Hanley and Revell were the players named, time will tell.
Also, Tim Oglethorpe said today he has been told names of players coming in and some are exciting (sounds familiar). He also said he couldn't name them at this point. Does sound like a couple at least may be lined up to arrive on Jan 1st.

It's going to be fascinating to see who comes in - let's face it who in their right mind would come to us right now?

Depends how much money our anonymous investors are willing to throw at it.

Revell is definitely off.
They always say the names are exciting and then we sign Dean Bowditch.

2/3 loan signings, 2 short term signings (normally over 30) and a couple of youngsters, who are for the future, wont get a game and are released a year later. All the same old crap. As it is year after year. It's the Cobblers way. League 2 here we come.

Surely it's obvious Revell will be off.

Trouble is we've got 4 season long loans already. Match day squad can only have 5 in it I believe...

I would be surprised if Ingham is still here after Jan 1st.

Why? We're the ideal club for a GK to get shooting practise.

Waters has never been given a decent run so it looks like he doesn't fit into Jimmys plans........Bowditch didn't make the bench yesterday, so there's another. If Ingram stays then I can see Coddington going. McGivern was only contracted to January and he didn't make the bench yesterday either despite apparently being brought in as cover for the centre backs, two of whom are injured.....so looks like he'll be gone.
If we had to send a loanee back I'd go for Grimes who has flattered to deceive.....although Long could also make way for a new face.

Apparently McGivern has a 'slight' hamstring injury. I know we have a big squad but the injury list this season has been horrendous. Have we got an injury prone squad or is something very wrong somewhere? Or, are we just being told they're injured when they disappear for weeks on end? Hanley and Kasim were on the bench yesterday but haven't been seen for weeks, Hanley even came on ahead of Smith - what's going on there? I certainly don't know that's for sure.

Not rumours but heres my take…
By the end of January:
1. Rico and Revs paid off/moved on. 2. Waters sent to Cheltenham on loan to get his confidence back. Hopefully. 3. A focal point striker brought in. A smaller nippier goal scorer brought in to play alongside him. Long needs to be 2nd choice by the end of the month if we are to survive. He's scored in 3 games this season out of about 20 plus starts. 4. Poole sent back, McGivern or whatever his name is contract not renewed. Another centre back brought in, someone with experience and knowledge of this league preferably. 5. 2 Wingers brought in, one right footed, one left. 6. Bowdith, Kasim shot of. Most likely on loan, they both have long contracts so paying them off is unlikely but they need to be sent out with a view to leaving permanently. 7. A decent keeper signed or Ingram to commit to the end of the season. 8. The squad needs to be trimmed to around 22 players so I reckon about 8 out, 4 in should do that.

Don't forget to pay Hanley off also. Also, not sure McGugan will be here come January, certainly no news on any contract extension.

Kasim will also be gone too you'd imagine - Possibly Bowditch too. I would think Mcgugan may be off somewhere a bit higher up the spectrum (Even if it's somewhere towards the top end of league 1). If he were staying he would of signed by now you would have thought!
