You couldn’t make it up
operative word 'May' = Stevie May, but he is at Aberdeen?

I know you from old sometimes claiming to be in the know, but I suspect its mostly bravado with a touch of insecurity thrown in. The dilemma for you is whether to reveal a decent hint so that you can tell your distractors 'told you so'.
It was all too cryptic for me. Is he suggesting that Stevie May?

No, it’s the bit where he says it was someone we were in for before, rather than being cryptic.

I’m guessing that shoey’s being a bit mischievous but there’s Alfie may who is a striker at Doncaster. If we were to get this Koch it would give us the twin towers if he’s 6ft 5” alongside Taylor who is similar - and then Pierre who is a unit.

What we will know by 31 Jan is whether or not the Chinese have money behind them. So far JFH has begun reshuffling his pack of players within the existing budget i.e. 2 out 1 in. No transfer fees paid yet. Early days I know. If no significant cash is available then I think supporters have to be concerned about the club's ownership, both English & Chinese. The signs are not good but I have had doubts for some time on the situation and this affects our ability to sign who we need to get out of the mess on the pitch.

You're all way off. The May reference is to Theresa. Following her success of negotiating Brexit she has been asked by the club to negotiate the new contracts.
Does anyone have a pen?

I was told yesterday that the club are working on a cash deal for a striker which will involve one of our strikers going the other way. I guess this will take time to get done and dusted and obviously lots of things need to fall into place for it to happen. FWIW I heard rumours a month back that we were looking at a Scottish striker(no idea) a championship striker(Agbonlahor was mentioned but I highly doubt we could get him even on loan) and a league two striker(Doidge from forest green) The last may have legs as I could see either revell or Richards going the other way as part of a deal.
The defender from Breda has been mooted on here for a while(not by me) but appears close to happening. I was also told that we were looking at other goalkeepers in case Ingram was recalled which would be sensible. I was told the idea of Freddie woodman was mooted but jimmy was keen on an older experienced goalie if the need arose(again sensible imo)
That’s all my tittle tattle from various gossip and the like I expect some to be wide of the mark and some to be spot on. FWIW I think the most likely is doidge although I’ve been told we have had scouts scouting the Scottish matches recently and that may come to something.

It is clear that we missed out on Hanson.
Have you got a source confirming that NTFC were interested in signing Hanson and made him an offer which he refused in order to go to Bury?

We were never after James Hanson.
Also I'd suggest none of those names from Shoey are correct, striker wise.

From what i have heard, Mr Slowe is spot on. Shoey is probably not.

Spill the beans then; which L1 striker are we in for?

Time will tell on Hanson but part of me things *if* we do have the funds then much better will be available and really we need a bit of pace and guile... Very hard to recuit In January but not impossible..

Exactly if people think they know something why not say? Truth is i suspect very few if any do actually know anything!

Talking of strikers, what's the odds on Revell going to Bury as well?

Let's be honest, no one knows what's happening because even JFH doesn't know what he's doing!
This is a list of strikers who have 6 months left on their contracts and may be looking to move. Some are unrealistic but it's always good to dream! Who would you realistically want from this list.....
Gabriel Agbonlahor (Villa) Lee Gregory (Milwall) Jay Emmanuel- Thomas (Cardiff) Reuben Reid (Exeter) Chris Dagnall (Crewe) Gary Madine (Bolton) Mark Cullen (Blackpool) Kyle Vassell (Blackpool) Nathan Delfouneso (Blackpool) Shaquile Coulthirst (Barnet) Simon Cox (Southend) David Mcgoldrick (Ipswich) Leon Best (Charlton) Kevin van Veen (Sc***horpe) Alex Schalk (Ross County) Stef Nijland (PEC Zwolle) Oliver McBurnie (Swansea) Tony Watt (OH Leuven) Nicky Clark (Dunfermline) Steve Morison (Milwall)
