No, they were in the Championship (at the time) we're in League One.

Wouldnt be the same if they didn't have something to moan about, I wonder how some people get through life being so negative
Less disappointments, you'll get there when you get a bit older as well.

I see Sc***horpe has signed Cameron McGeehan on loan from Barnsley. I'd have been delighted if we'd sent Grimes back and brough him in instead. Quality player.

Not cut it in the championship, what makes you think he will in league 1?

Because he was too good for League Two. Sc***horpe (4th in the league) clearly think he's good enough!

I have read this link above and it is not all bad on Mr Facey. Some arguing on his merits.
Can somebody please explain why we have signed(apparently) a 21yr old full back who is small and on the light side. Not sure if he is ideal for a relegation battle. Come in Frank Wink

Exactly my point Evers, unfortunately a bit of debate is lost on the happy clappers though.

Look pal I'm merely posting the views of people who have seen him play and in the same situation as ourselves, if you can't see the relevance then I can't help you.

I think in this instance Pedj that Man04 may have a point. I too would question why we are signing a (small) young full back |(plus a fee) when he is bound to be involved in a blood and thunder relegation battle. Unless it is a cunning plan to combine him with Berto?

His description sounds too similar to Hanley for me. Small and lightweight, similar ages, both with premiership sides, and both played age group football for England.
Doesn't sound like the type of player we are going to need over the next four months. Hope I'm wrong.

Because JFH thinks his current full backs aren't mobile enough or athletic enough and are, to put it bluntly.....s***.

Come in Frank Wink

I don't know a thing about the lad to be fair other than he was easy to make a song up for.  Grin

Tend to agree, he doesn’t seem the right fit for a relegation battle

I would certainly suggest there are other areas that are in need of freshening up such as a striker before the full back positions

I originally thought this.

Then took a step back and looked at how many goals we've conceded!

Tbh there are not many areas of the pitch that don't need sorting out.

Facey seems to have played CB as well at New York, not just full back.

It's only an issue if it's recruitment at the expense of a Striker or more wider reinforcements. We certainly need to change something as we aren't working defensively well enough at the moment, and if this just happens to be because it's just the earliest signing that has gone through then it's not an issue, is it.
