You do realise that this is a set of supporters talking about a relegation battle in the Championship, not L1 don't you?

Sounds similar to Berahino too. And Kyle Walker.
Both were teenagers who played only a handful of games..
By the time Walker had reached twenty three he had played over 200 league games.
Again, an inaccurate comparison.

The game has changed massively in the last few years. Long gone are the days when you need a big target man and big brutes at the back. To be a full back now you have to be so much more than a defender

Blimey.

When was the last time anyone said they were excited by a signing.

I can't wait to see Hilda and Facey bombing forward. People seem to forget how stale and toothless we've become in that area.

Two strikers now please. Well, one at least

I genuinely can't remember one "physical brute" we have had at full back?

Doesn’t have to be full back! A decent Cobbs side would have one ...JJOT can be a brute!

Eesh, we've not even officially signed the lad yet and I'm already worried he's the worst player to ever play for us.

It's fine to feel disappointed by the news of a signing but surely we can give the lad a chance to actually sign and then play for us before we judge him?

Everyone seems to have got their knickers bunched about us signing Facey and Bridge and neither have even been announced yet. Meanwhile James Hanson seems to have got better as a player simply by not signing for us!

The arrival of Facey may mean that Moloney, out of contract this summer, is on the move.  Stupid to comment on Facey until we have seen him play a few times.

We await patiently the arrival of some striking power. It has only been 2 years........................

Facey now confirmed.

According to Club is 5’ 10” and is ‘aggressive’. Most football sites have him down as  5’ 8” only Wiki got it right!

Let's hope he's more of a Jason Crowe than a Paul Rodgers!

I have always liked Brendan but he has struggled the last 12 months. He hasnt got forward with as much effectiveness and as touched upon previously our defence was the worst in the country over the last calendar year so its not like its a shock decision. Hoping Facey can come in and provide some athleticism down the right hand side. Him and Periera is so much more interesting anyway that say Moloney and Hoskins/Foley etc.

Its also beneficial that both have been training with us for the last month or so.

Right back primarily and sounds like he's been training with us for a while perhaps from the sounds of it.

Were we this negative when we first signed Bayo?? An overwieght unfit centre forward!
But the look of the leeds defence faces when he started to run towards them on his debut was something I will never forget!

Wish we could go back to then and sign Bayo on a 10 year contract #beastlove

Would even now provide a better option than Rico or Revs!
