Yes. Bye bye Ingram

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Did we pay money for him? Only signed with Rotherham one year ago on a 2.5 year deal (who paid money for him).

Another keeper signed... Ingram leaving?
Edit: Confirmed Ingram has gone back to QPR
Yep. Richard O'Donnell in. Guess my guess was wrong, then!

I’d love to know why he’s gone back to qpr, like I’ve said before I know he’s been letting goals in but he’s been getting games - unless it’s with a view to another loan or one of their 2 keepers is injured it’s a strange one.

Many thanks to Ingram, shame he could not stay.
Did really well for us.
Lets hope people get behind O'Donnell rather than be on his back like they are with Cornell.

I'm guessing it is to free up a loan place. Maybe to get a forward in who is out of our reach on a permanent deal?

1) He was on a 24 hour recall, so we could have got to March, had him recalled and then been stuck with Cornell until the end of the season. 2) Frees up a loan space in the squad.

Let's hope he doesn't get injured in March then cause 1) will still apply!

I'm relatively happy with this and expect O'Donnell to be an upgrade. Ingram just isn't vocal enough for my liking and it's leading to so many mistakes. Only last match Facey had a misplaced header in the first half where he had no clue where Ingram was, and once in the second half Buchanan let the ball drop over his head on the 6 yard box unaware the winger was behind him. Welcome O'Donnell. Hopefully can make it as long term first choice keeper.

Should also mean that either Cornell or coddington is on their way - there’s no way we need 3 first team keepers especially with goff returning from his loan. It’s a bit gutting that the one area in the team that we didn’t really need to look at has now needed a change, especially when other areas need addressing more urgently.

I liked Ingram but still see this as a very shrewd signing. He has decent experience at Championship level, and by the looks of it was bought in by Rotherham in the January window last year to play in their Championship relegation battle. Also frees up another loan spot, which will prove to be important in this window.

That Buchanan one was a strange one don't you think? Especially for someone of his experience. I know what i would have done in that situation. Was almost like he got a call..

I take the point about it freeing up a loan space and the worry of a 24 recall. Seems to be a bit of confusion as to whether he has come for a fee or as according to the chron article if he was a free, not that it really matters.

Happy enough with that move. Ingram was good but not our player. This new keeper seems half decent.

Agree that it is preferable to have our own player but thanks to Ingram who did a good job behind a porous defence.

So more to come, if there was any doubt
Edit: Jeremy Casey on twitter confirms that we're definitely looking at Strikers still.
