He didn't...
The BBC site had him in the line-up prior to kick-off but to be fair I think they just used the line-up from the previous game.

They were great young players. Even we aren't that bad at selling players. Both left for undisclosed money.
I meant when they left Leeds & Forest respectively so any sell on fee clause was worthless. ?% of f uck all us f uck all.

Both would do nicely believe one is out of contract this summer too... affordable if we can ship a few out the door.. fingers crossed.

Let's hope if we have got a sell on clause it is just a cash deal and not some kind of swap as hinted at in this article - it would be a bit sh**ty to be screwed out of what's owed to us.

From what I understand the charlton chairman only wants a cash deal. There was a bit of talk that Karl Robinson wanted Samir Carruthers as part of the deal. Some conjuction that as the chairman is looking to get out he only wants cash. If we do have a sell on then that will benefit us.

Yeah, I saw that - obviously it all hinges on whether or not we put a sell on clause into the deal and if we did how transparent the fee/deal between Sheffield united and charlton is. In this kind of scenario the old "undisclosed fee" is likely to raise its ugly head and if make weight players get involved it gets even murkier. If we have got a sell on we could be due some decent cash as he's on 3 year contract and is one of the best midfielders in league one.

That's good news if you're right - I fully expect some kind of chicanery that will mean that we as fans won't have a clue how much we're entitled to. Has anyone seen any speculation on a possible fee - it must be a fair bit if he's got 3 years left, was their player of the year and charlton didn't want to sell? I see that Robinson is still saying that he wants Samir carruthers in exchange - that would be a right pi**er.

I'm confident I'm right, for once. Not sure on the fee they'll get for him, he's almost 30 isn't he? Be mad to pay too much!

Yes but like I said before the transfer seems to have come out of the blue and he is easily their best player and one of the best in the division. The only drawback is by the sounds of it their chairman is after a quick buck and it also looks like they're treating him like we did - he wants away and rather than stand firm they're letting him go (hopefully not on the cheap). It'll be very interesting to see how he gets on there - it'll be the first time in his career that he's a small fish in a big pond as opposed to being the key man and Sheffield united have got loads of good attacking players.

He signed a new and improved three year contract in the summer. So he won't be going too cheap. Any additional income helps balance the books. Good for him as well.

Weren't the blades trying to sign him all summer hence the contract extension? Will be interesting to see how he gets on in the championship.
