In all seriousness we still need a striker.  which will hopefully get us the goals we need to get out of trouble. after all those signings we simply cant go down. fair play at least we are giving it ago. I hope the club have this in the bag.

UTC

i would like to see Kevin van Veen in an ntfc shirt...... this guy has something about him.

I don’t think anyone will know anything
The chrons football man didn’t even know they’d had a bid accepted for Bunney.
It’s good to see the club doing its business this way as opposed to the old days when anyone in the media used to know the clubs business and would be letting the cat out of the bag before signings were completed.
This side of things is much more professional nowadays and I like the fact that in some cases the element of surprise still exists in some cases

I expect the striker we've been waiting for will be a loan signing from a team higher up the footballing pyramid. So we will probably be waiting on teams to sign reinforcements first, so may take a bit longer than the other signings.

Still hoping for Tom Elliott till the end of the season.

i think there will be a striker in on a permanent deal and a forward type coming in on loan.

it might need revell to be pushed out the door though.

Not impressed by TE who I have seen several times. Why sign TE when Revell is a pretty close player in ability. Furthermore I liked Revells attitude in the last home game and also the manner in how he despatched the game settiingly third goal.

Just my opinion, but I feel Elliot would be a significant upgrade on Revell - Can't see it happening tho

I keep hearing Tom Pope's name mentioned but am presuming it's the usual rumour mill going into overdrive.

Why?
Give details of games played/goal ratio, experience status etc and apply/compare against Revell. Happy to support yr proposal if based on fact not just your opinion. Don't forget you attend very few games and even failed to attend the recent Pompey game!

Give it a rest, Evers. You don't have to try and police every thread, pick people up on their manners and monitor everyone's attendance to decide whether they are allowed to venture an opinion or not.

This is supposed to be a forum in which people can have a bit of banter, exchange views and express their opinions for a bit of fun. No one is under any obligation to back up their every post with carefully researched facts and figures to justify their views, not to you or to anyone else.

OK fair comment, but I don't do this as you suggest! Only with two at most where I have particular 'banter' issues with. I take your point and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Not that I have to justify my opinion but ...

- Age (27 Vs 34)
- Potential to go to better things
- Better in the air (IMO)
- Character

Need I go on ....

With heartfelt apologies to BoN you do need to strengthen your ‘debate’ with a few facts as opposed to opinion.
