Wouldn't surprise me to see Long sign permanently AND for us to sign another striker.

We need both, especially if Revell exits

I can't help but feel that if all of a sudden we have 2 quick wingers and 2 full backs launching crosses into the box, Revs will be a different player entirely. The player we saw under Rob Page.

Agreed. Revs needs one of two things; people close to him for him to flick on to or decent crosses into the box he can stick his head on. He had neither of those early in the season, it will be interesting to see how he'll do now.

I heard on the radio coming home the reporter at the Corby game say that Leon Lobjoit is being recalled this week. Why would this be? I take it he's either being released, transferred or loaned to another team.

Didn't we try this before by loaning him to Nuneaton Town, without success.

I think he will get released.

We are now in the business of "growing" players.  We might have bought one or two good seeds this time. Time will tell.

Hopefully, we've got an option to extend it as 18 Months is certainly not long enough.
The kid oozes talent & is a real find. Fair play whoever discovered him from our scouting circle.

When you thin RP signed Hanley on a two year deal. No offence but, night & day!

You'd imagine Ash Taylor must be worth a fair amount?

Not sure it's fair to compare rob page's signings to what we are getting now. Think it is obvious that rob page didn't have the budget in which JFH is working with.

So, is this what we are looking at so far, I have added players in brackets who can cover as a 2nd choice position

GK O'Donnell
GK Cornell
LB Bunney
LB Smith (Turnbull)
RB Facey
RB Phillips Inj (McWilliams)
CB Taylor
CB Turnbull
CB Poole
CB Barnett
CB Pierre Injured
CM Grimes
CM Crooks
CM O'Toole
CM McWilliams
Mid Foley
Wg Bridge
Wg Pereira
Wg Powell
Wg Ariyibi
Wg Hoskins
Att Long
Att Revell

On Loan
Goff
Iaciofano
Waters
Lobjoit

Surplus
Coddington
Moloney
Buchanan
Bowditch
Kasim
Hanley

Wouldn't be surprised with the amount of wide players we now have (who'd have thought we'd be saying that) that Powell might be struggling for a squad place. Still plenty of players to move on, maybe another if another striker comes in.
