You tell us! 1 in 1 out I reckon.

I can see a few more leaving by 'mutual consent'. I think a player needs to be released today if he wants to find another club this season.

It's possible some players won't want to leave as they're on good money, and are happy to sit in the stands and get a higher wage than play for less money.

Have you not heard, Howson pulled out of the deal as he knows he'll never get in ahead of JJOT. Buchs also turned down Sheffield United, doesn't rate their manager  Wink
Brilliant!!!

Depends on the club and players stance I guess.

Might work out mutually beneficial for all involved to pay a player a few months wages up front to leave. They could then walk into another job on similar money/longer contract and we won't have to pay the wages until we might be able to offload them in the summer.

Still think we'll bring in that centre back from Sheff Utd today.

That fella Graham Martin on Twitter has tweeted...

Multiple clubs, including Notts County and Port Vale are interested in a deadline day swoop for Cobblers central midfielder Yaser Kasim

Obviously, take this with a pinch of salt, but would be fantastic to gid rid of either Kasin &/or Bowditch today, preferably on permanent deals

Graham Martin is the least ITK person you could think of.

I think we have the 4 strikers - Long, KVV, Mathis and JJOT.  I know JJOT is not a recognised striker, but he is filling that role well.

I would not be surprised to see another defender come in or Long become permanent.

I don't think you could ever class jj ot as a striker. I wouldn't be suprised if we bought 2 more in. A forward plus centre half and see 3 or 4 go out

I won't be happy unless Jimmy comes out of retirement to become player/manager. Go on Jimmy, you know you want to.

don't think anymore will come in now - and players will only leave if JFH gets a call - i dont think they are actively pushing anyone out the door so to speak or paying them off.

at least it looks like most of pre-season next year will actually be trimming down the deadwood rather than a massive evolution again.

I'm sure someone posted on the squad numbers thread yesterday that Mathis has been given 9 and Van Veen 10, don't know if that was a guess or confirmed though.

It was a guess, but an educated guess. Van Veen was 10 at Scunny and Jimmy said Mathis "is a proper number 9".

You watch they'll be 49 & 50 now  Grin

I read an MK fan the other day suggested that Bowditch had been helping out coaching some of their youth set up. No idea if true, makes sense he would remain localish.
