Hi Guys,

As well as following the Cobblers I set up BBC Radio Northampton's Thursday Night Football show. We're looking for some supporters to come in for the show and have a chat about the season so far/what's going well/what's not etc etc...

If anyone is interested in being a part of this just comment or email me at oliver.conopo@bbc.co.uk

If this takes off we'd like to have a supporters panel in once a month/6 weeks to review how things are going on the pitch.

Thanks!

Would this mean outing yourself? On a seperate note we could all have a vote on the contributors on here. Why don’t we agree on 5 candidates and then put it to the vote? By the way I have no desire to be “the voice from down under” on some sort of telegram link. Besides I listen to most games drunk and often fall asleep before the end of games (a bit like those in the comfy seats in the West Stand)

Off the top of my head top 5 in no particular order (apologies if I missed someone better)
1. Steve Riches (Wise word value from the much missed part time hack)
2. Everbrite (The ever popular no nonsense enforcer)
3. Cobblers 78 (The remarkably talented soothsayer)
4. Insider (Points of interest gathered from his daily cycle past the training ground)
5. Poggy (Comes across as comparatively quite brainy).

The what's gone well part should be brief.

Drilling, Bungle and TFAMH are decent and seem to talk less bollocks than everyone else.

For a laugh you could have Cecil and Cobb78

I genuinely reckon 78 would be good on there. You want people with strong opinions. You’d be quite good as well Feels, you’re not shy in coming forward at times either.

The what's gone well part should be brief.

1. We've signed someone to play Fifa professionally
2. We now get a mention when BAME managers make the news
3. Richards couldn't partner Revell for a period of time due to default

Do you have to go to the studio in person to do this, or can you participate via phone?

I would question no 3 ; certainly not popular!

Please insert Potato Head (aka Doc Feelgood) if only for his refined comments and high IQ Roll Eyes. Always best to pay respectful nod to the Moderators.

we definitely want a Chris Sutton type on there who’s not afraid to tell it like it is. You’d be good Evers, so would Steve. We don’t want one of those nicey nicey don’t say anything too nasty types? Can’t wait frankly, hope someone decent is up for it?

This is exactly what we're looking for. Obviously can't have an hour of slagging off individuals but need some strong opinions in there. The first panel is on Thursday, and we've got one signed up so are looking for another couple of fans for this week!
