A sad day - and night - for sport in Northampton, how did it get so bad for us and saints?

Some good and realistic comments there.
Also what did Martin Smith say, and JFH after game comments? Before too many of you throw the proverbial toys etc we are still not quite adrift; although we seem to be working on it!

Yes to Glastonbury's and Old Stratford's comments. Would you let JFH spend your money in January based on what he has done to date? If the answer is no then he has to go.
Agree!

Martin Smith said, amongst other things, that he saw a number of our players going through the motions and not putting in the effort required. Damning.

For what it's worth I thought Calderwood was a good manager. KT doesn't know how to appoint the right man. 3 strikes and out?!
To be fair it's been like that every game since Oxford. Suggests deeper issues / players not playing for him, which is worrying

Absolutely agree with that and that is the problem he is referring to. We have some players who were expected to make it at a higher level. They haven’t and their heart is not really in it. We need more grit and passion from the midfield!

Not enough characters in the side! Who in the side would run through brick walls for the team? Not many!

You need a mixture of both, put Grimes in with a few more battlers he'd thrive imo.. also he may/may not be the answer but Waters is a bloody striker so bloody play him there..

Waters is unfortunately a carbon copy of hoskins. Both not good enough.

Not only that we have handed hoskins a contract extension. More evidence of how worrying it possibly maybe given jimmy cash to spend.

He may be but has he once been given the chance to prove himself in his preferred position!?

Just seen the after match interview with Tim Oglethorpe. Fairplay Tim for asking Jimmy Floyd, are you the man to take the cobblers forward? He responded with “what kind of question is that.” I thought it was refreshing to hear somebody challenge him rather than the normal sycophantic nonsense. He has to carry the blame, he’s the man to organise & motivate & I don’t see any evidence of either!

Agree on the questioning. Not sure I agree with Jimmy acting like he's got a free pass.

That air of untouchable arrogence, almost like how dare you ask me that I did not like. Bit of decent questioning from Tim as you say for a change!

If Jimmy does change at least 50% of that side in January then we will go down for sure....

On one hand I feel sorry for him. It can’t be much fun. On the other, he earns a small fortune and will walk into another job. A prime example that the top players don’t necessarily make the best managers. He can use whatever excuses he likes, we should be doing a lot better. Some people just refuse to accept accountability.
It might be his (typically Dutch) laid back way, but JFH never seems to be right where it counts. Posted a few weeks back that I think he will walk at Christmas!

We need someone who can instill discipline. Justin Edinburgh at Leyton Orient would be a good appointment. Failing that, just bring Sam Allardyce is half as nice from, is it Everton?

Tim's a good journalist, he needed to ask that - and I'm sure it won't be the last time our dear manager needs to be challenged!
