JJOT made all the difference. Focal point of the team.

Grimes for me today, as well as wanting the ball and actually doing something with it, he got stuck in too.

Special mentions for JJOT (still don't think it is his best role but he caused havoc), Foley and McGugan.

What a refreshing change that there are a number of contenders for motm - jjot, long and foley did well, Pierre had one of his better games after the cock-up of the first couple of minutes, Taylor was his usual steady self but Grimes for me.

JJOT. His presence brings up everyone else's game, sets the standard for closing down and being a nuisance

Grimes - he won possession at times when he had no right to.  Composed and always looked for the intelligent option.  A great free kick which forced a good save from their keeper. A MOM performance!

Foley Huh??
I thought he was awful .
For me the MOM was Buchanan . Took up some really good positions going forward and created the second goal .

McCugan caught my eye; got the impression during the game that here was a player with a bit of class. Did a few premier league long range passes as well. Got stuck in as well. All the players played well and overall none let the manager down.

JJOT for me, we are a different team when he plays. Foley and Long were also excellent.

Plenty of candidates for MOM. JJOT certainly made a difference up front, Long took his goals well, Moloney tirelessly attacked down the right flank, McGugan showed some moments of pure class, but the guy who ran the show in the middle of the park and made the biggest contribution was Grimes

Grimes again having a good game when playing alongside McGugan...? Hopefully JFH has noticed that as well...

Time for him to take the captain's armband?
