From what I have seen I would put Goff above Coddington and Cornell, he might even be our No1 next season. If Ingram is out long term, can we not recall Goff now and put him in the 1st team?

We could put Cornhole or the Codmeister in goal for the easier games like Oldham or Plymouth and Goff in goal for the tougher games like Walsall..oh wait

It’s got to the point with bunn where there is little to no point in bringing him in (even if he was available) - he hasn’t played a match for months and must be so rusty it’s untrue.

A little WD40 may work wonders for our defence.

Latest update on Ingram is that he’s had his scan and it’s not serious - he needs to strengthen the muscles around his shoulder and is rated touch and go for Saturday.

Reading the quotes from JFH it is incredibly unlikely that Ingram will be fit for Saturday - Jimmy is more than happy with Cornell saying that he was pleased how he recovered from his “little mistake” and didn’t let it affect him! I think a career in the diplomatic core might be there for JFH if he ever fancies a change from football! Cornell is definitely likely to be a busy boy at the weekend with Mulgrew and dack firing in the set pieces. Also Powell is still out with a tendon issue and Hoskins could be back.

If there is explanation for the bizarre keeping from Cornell which lead to the red card incident, I would love to hear it. So I understand. Otherwise its a total blunder, poor keeping and makes his position hard to defend.

As for the first goal it is a shame the defender is Pierre as he hasn't taken control of many situations this season, I understand Cornell is way off his line, but why not boot it out? If it had been Taylor I don't think Walsall would of scored.

Anyway, we got away with it. 3 points and buzzing.

Worrying that JFH seemed to think he recovered from his early mistake...he didn't and was a liability all game!

Well that's at least good news. If he is not deemed fit I hope that that JFH plays our very own popular goalie - Cornell. Better the devil you know......

JFH does tend to come out with some bluff at times .
Cornell’s mistake at the end was worst than the first one .
