Efon Elad esq - That'll do me! Still remember that goal at County Ground after about 8 seconds...we all though he was Pele...unfortunately, so did he! Just need some bloomin' excitement on the pitch...

We seem good at getting unfit players shipshape for other clubs to then sign Pudding polishers

We can't have had too many Portuguese players. Already looking forward to seeing him play! Some desperately needed pace and width and long last.

But does he have pace? Thought the general consensus was, he's completely unfit!

According to Forest fans he would go and watch the U18's train and he went to their last game of the season (despite his loan being up a while before) and celebrated their survival with the fans. We need that sort of character at the moment. Cue red card on debut.

First cobblers player interview I've ever seen with an interpreter. He's hoping to be in the shop window and is dreaming of playing in the premier league....somebody needs to wake him up

Welcome Hilderberto. He has been training with us for 3 weeks. Looking forward to him taking players on and providing crosses.
One down, 5 still to arrive?

Yes. Despite many personal complaints to immigration officials he's still local. Sits in the north stand.

An exciting signing on paper: appears to have the potential to provide much-needed pace, trickery and creativity to what has proven to be a fairly predictable offensive unit.
I see him slotting in on the right-hand side of the attacking trio in a 4-2-3-1 with a licence to cut inside (i.e. the 'Ricky' position).
Ingram Buchanan Taylor Pierre Moloney O'Toole McWilliams Grimes/new left sided winger Crooks Perriera Long/new centre forward
Much will depend on JFH's man-management here though. He is clearly an enigmatic and mercurial talent who needs to learn the value of discipline and organisation. If we play him we'll need a solid base behind him, which is why I think we need to think in terms of playing McWilliams as a a holding midfielder alongside O'Toole.

That's a defence that has leaked more goals than any other professional club in England and Wales....no thanks, we need a new centre half and a left back as well as a target man.

True (although Oldham have actually conceded two more than us according to the BBC table). I'm with you on the left back and centre back issue, but as I've said many times reducing goal concession is not simply about improving the defence: you need to sort out your defensive midfielders and ensure that your offensive players are pressing high up the pitch if you're really going to run a tight ship in this league.

A few media quotes below about his spell at Forest. If Wilder was after him for Sheff U and 65% of Forest fans want him back in the Championship, I'm happy.
In his 25 games, Pereira scored twice and was sent off three times, including in a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa where he was given a second yellow card for celebrating with Reds' fans following Henri Lansbury’s dramatic late leveller.
That leaves Pereira left, who both endeared and aggravated Forest fans in his time at The City Ground - but what no-one can say, is that Pereira was a boring player.
With explosive speed and brilliant trickery, Pereira was outstanding flying forwards for Forest - as demonstrated by his amazing goal in a 3-1 win over Birmingham City or his dazzling assist for Henri Lansbury's equalising goal against Aston Villa in a 2-2 draw, which saw Pereira leave three defenders in his wake before squaring it.
However, he was also incredibly emotionally invested - perhaps too much at times, as demonstrated by his staggering disciplinary record, which saw Pereira pick up four yellow cards and three reds while he was on Trentside.
In total, the 21-year-old winger/full-back got two goals and two assists in 25 appearances in all competitions, displaying immense potential and ability in the process, however Forest also had to deal with the lack of experience he was sent to the club initially to learn.
Forest fans may never see a player as exciting - for better or worse - as Pereira again on a temporary basis, though it's unlikely that the Portugal U21 man's antics will be forgotten about in a hurry on Trentside, and few Forest fans would wish Pereira misfortune following his whirlwind of a loan spell.
Earlier this month, the rampaging winger had been linked with a move to Forest's Championship rivals Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, though it now looks like a move to Poland will be Pereira's next move.
At the end of the season, more than 4,000 Reds fans cast their vote with 65 percent of supporters backing the club to resign him on loan, with 22 percent feeling Forest were right to let him go.
