I do question the value of this site at times! You have to wade through so much rubbish to find anything of interest and subsequently I don’t post very often. Skim through to find any genuine opinion or info, other than petty squabbling or abuse!
Earlier today I posted about Danny Rose’s broken leg - a player who many Hotelenders wished had remained a Cobbler post the L2 championship season. I was going to post it in the Portsmouth thread, but felt that it would probably go unnoticed, being 2 games ago. So I set it as a new thread, thinking that others would be interested.
It would appear that one of the moderators felt it not news worthy and moved it to the Portsmouth thread. There had been no follow up so I assume very few of you know.
I don’t know how often a drop ball has resulted in a serious injury, but I reckon it may be more common than we think!!

Good point - I was really shocked to see his leg had been broken - terrible for him. I always thought Danny Rose was a class player and wish we could have held on to him. |

I'm sure Rose was playing for us and one of his former team mates went through him. That was also the evening when JJ left about three Oxford players looking stupid in the middle of the pitch with an outrageous dummy |

As discussed within a PM to super-si, it had already been mentioned in the original Pompey thread. Fair point, but so many threads get hijacked by a set few that just snipe. So something like this might have deserved a seperate mention rather than having to trawl through the bickering. |
