Very good interview by CD , put the lad at ease with selection of well thought out questions. Facey came across as a reasonable guy. Good start.

Sounds like a promising signing, although this must surely mean the end of the road at the Cobblers for Aaron Phillips, which is unfortunate. Good that Shay can play at centre back too as I'm not convinced by Regan Poole as cover in that area.

Lets be honest we only signed Poole because of JED.
Not sure he or we know his best position and unfortunatley that could be his downfall or he could be the next John O'Shea (who proved to be a good utility man for Man Ud)

Poole will not get anywhere close to playing for Man Utd and as it stands he's not even good enough for League 1. Now his spell playing for us might be good for his development and he may go on to carve out a career as reasonably successful footballer but we can't afford to develop a player like him at the moment. I don't know the terms of his loan but if there is an option to terminate it then i would do and back JFH to bring in a better replacement.

He already has played for Man Utd.

Reams of players have made 1 or 2 appearances for Man Utd (usually in the League Cup or Europa League) and disappeared in to obscurity.

Richard Eckersley anybody?

She’d be punching above her weight. Evers has the Sloane horsey set drooling over him in Harrods by all accounts?

Great signing another player who's played a grand total of 5 english league games at the age of 23, panic buy at best but the usual adds pace to the team rubbish.

Not sure this is a panic buy at the start of the transfer window and the interview alludes to him having been training with us for a little while before signing just like Berto
