Poole for me, after some stick on here for being too small he won everything in the air and got stuck in.

Long and Hoskins were both also excellent, their movement and hassling. Facey and JJ both did well too.

I'm going for Facey as I thought he had a flawless debut, Poole also looked good today.  Long worked tirelessly, especially in the second half.  Crooks also did well but is prone to picking up needless bookings.

JJOT hugely important cog to get the 3 points today, puts tackles in at the right time,  and drew a fair few fouls.

Poole was very good as well. Facey looked decent.

His booking today was very very smart and professional, they were breaking clear. Took one for the team.

Poole.

Difficult to choose as they were all equally poor first half except possibly Hoskins and Poole. Second half plenty of candidates but I shall give it Poole who I thought had his best game yet at CB.

Crooks for me.

I wonder if grimes and long got the hairdryer at HT both were like different players in the second half.

Facey was just a right back doing his job. No different to Buchs other than being faster. Solid nonetheless

Completely different to Buchs imo. Some of his balls down the line into space were exceptional for a young inexperienced kid on his debut. Buchs nearly cost us again today when he dithered in the second half waiting for Ingram rather than dealing with the situation.
