I'd say it's between Long, Facey and Taylor (who's there or thereabouts most weeks). I'll plump for Long, but there's not much between them.
I said the other week how much I'd like to see Long get some proper support and not have to feed on scraps. I think we started to see that in the second half yesterday as we played the ball about more and didn’t hoof it forward so much. Let's hope we keep playing that way!

If O'tool is on 9 should he not be further up?
Good spot

Shay Facey for me. Excellent debut and seemed to have more time on the ball than Moloney.

Facey had a good composed debut, but the most effective player was Long.

His booking today was very very smart and professional, they were breaking clear. Took one for the team.
Poole.
I agree that he took 'one for the team' yesterday. I just think that if his tackling could be improved he could be an even better player for The Cobblers. He's improved a helluva' lot since playing for Accrington a couple of seasons back.

JJOT for me. What a turn around 2nd half, was like watching a different team.

Facey is my mom. We now need a left back version of Facey.

For a 2nd phase assist, a very decent penalty take and an excellent 2nd half display Im going with Grimes.
I was particularly critical of him versus Wigan, but thought that once the team clicked on Saturday (2nd half) he was behind everything that was good.
