Also, in the first half, I think, the ref missed a blatant handball by one of our centre halves in the area.

Yes, Turnbull I think.

A great result today and a decent if not great performance. To throw in my two-penneth worth on Foley, I really like him but I didn't think he had a great first half today. Second half he was much better but I do think his inexperience in a wide role affects his decision making to a degree though and he often seems to run out of ideas in the final third. He does shield the fullback well though, and with Bunney behind him I think he might hang onto his place for that reason alone.

On a separate note, what a bunch of divs the plastic fans are. Singing "going down" at a team that will jump you if they win is perhaps not the brightest or most self-aware thing to do!

Great win today, what a bunch of window lickers the MK lot are that needed a police escort, truly hilarious.
Hoskins stood out today as not quite good enough, runs around a lot with absolutly no end product, looked to be constantly out of position chasing shadows.
Foley always puts a shift in, like him.

I'm surprised Hoskins came back out for the 2nd half. Absolute toilet.
his only saving grace is Hilda clearly isn't fit.
everyone else, job done.

To be fair to Hoskins, he did have an assist on the winning goal.

Hoskins is normally full of running if not end product. Today he looked well off. Illness or poor form. Not at the races today despite his assist.

Everyone has off days.

The players probably thought he was a weeble. Seriously, I can't ever recall seeing a fatter referee. I assume he only added one minute to the first half because he was desperate to get in for his half time snack...

Looks like Pereira takes a blow to the face from another MK player just after the main bout. Retrospective three game ban coming there Shocked

The bloke behind me mentioned to his mate that he thought the Ref had had a good Christmas - That made me smile and settled early nerves. Absolutely great result. Well done lads.

JJOT was a lucky boy and pretty much did what the MK lad did first, with a little less force. Handbags.

Am really impressed with the lad Facey,he gets forward well and puts some decent crosses in.

Another gritty performance from the team and worthy winners; if only for Dons mediocre second half performance. Bunney got better as the game went on; we do need Foley to cover him or even Poole. I did think that the Dons were slightly better than previous results indicated and at times looked good on the ball. The second half found them out not a lot of fight etc and leaderless too! Agree Facey was good but sometimes careless with his passing! Taylor and Turnbull played well and were generally reliable and committed. Liked Aribi who produced a very strong run late in the game. Thought he had very little ball tho' - very direct player; will keep Powell out! JJOT was good thru' out the game and typical goal from him. Overall I thought the side played better at Bradford and was saddened to see Powell left out. I would reinstate him in a flash. Think that Bunney might be too attack minded at Blackburn? Aribi I like very strong and difficult to knock off the ball would definitely have him in the side at Blackburn. Dont quite get the negavity towards Hoskins who played his part, did a lot of covering; agree his final third play is lacking, but his assist in the 2nd goal was very welcome. Crooks not so effective as at Bradford but still did ok; thought he was a tad slow at times in pressing down on the oppo. The point is we won thanks to O'Donnell ; 3 priceless points and upto 18th! Hurrah!
