Same again please Jimbo.

Predicting a 2-0 win for us

A win should hopefully see us out the drop zone..

The total contempt Cobblers fans have for this franchise organisation (NOT a proper football club) will add numbers to the home crowd to give 90 minutes of quality passion and support to our team!!!

Home win, 2-0.

Massive game, a real six pointer. Wouldn’t it be great to beat them and send them on their way to relegation.

Proper building ourselves up for a fall😂
But...for the first time this season we must be hot favourites to win and it being a local derby will fire up both sides,  players/fans alike so I would take a scappy 1_0 win.

I've had zero confidence for the last few matches, I'm now worried I'm set up for a fall as am looking forward to a game for the first time in a while.

Sending them into the drop zone would be bloody amazing, am desperate to see their stadium in league 2, imagine their crowds  Grin

I don't think this is being negative and have seen it many time when expectation is raised (beat MK and I guarantee talk of a play off spot will start) - however I've seen enough class and increase in effort and passion in the last 2 games to suggest unless complacency gets in the way we are easily capable of beating any team in the lower half of this division.

Decent attendance for this one?  MK should bring a few and home support will be swelled after a couple of decent results

What would you consider a few for MK?

I'm not expecting them to bring more than about 700

This has to be a 7000+ gate, surely MK will spill into the East Stand, it’s a massive game for them also.

You are probably right.  I was thinking they may sell out their 950 (or whatever) but looking at their results, perhaps not

They didn't sell out last season so why would they get close now?

When things are going badly for a plastic team they will lose fans quicker than an 'established' club. All the fans that started going with their promotions from league 2 and league 1 will stop going much quicker than a seasoned fan when it's not going well.

Stadium MK in league 2 would be the best thing ever. Combine that with Us and the Real Dons surviving with Luton getting promoted, they would have nothing to look forward to next season.

The sooner they fold the better, and if they really think proper football fans have less animosity towards them over the years they are deluded. #Scumoffootball #plastic #franchise

Surely their total will depend on how many FREE tickets they are given, as per their home matches!!!!!!!

If MK are managed well they will be up for this game - they wont want to be beaten by us and more important end up in the bottom 4. Very hard game to win.

In fairness, the game last season was a noon kick off on a Sunday with live Sky TV coverage.

I’m sure supporters everywhere treat this vile organisation (I refuse to call them a football club) with the same contempt. It’s not the fault of the people that follow them, although I genuinely would find it impossible to support this outfit if I was a local. The blame for this lays squarely with the football league for endorsing this outrage in the first place l. I think it’s the role of every true football fan to never accept this outfit as a club. I personally yearned for the day when Wimbledon got back in the football league. Wimbledon beating them in the league which happened at the back end of last season must have been a day to savour. Not sure how I would have felt if I was an AFC supporter that day. All that’s needed now is for MK to get relegated out of the league and along with AFCs new ground which apparently is a quarter of a mile from the old ground, some of this wrong will have been put right. Someone ran a thread on here sometime ago about who you would support if there was no Cobblers. AFC Wimbledon are my other team, I think their story of overcoming adversity is one of the best in english football. As for MK, say no more, hope we give them a damn good thrashing. Sorry about yet another self righteous rant Wrigley, but these chaps have got my gander up.
