Lovely man, stood next to him at the back of the west stand on a few occasions when he was on scouting duty, around the time we had Bunn and Chambers.
A pioneer and role model to a whole generation of black footballers, he and his peers really did help to change footballs culture for the better.

V sad news, seems like yesterday he came on as sub with Speedy for Cov in the FA cup.

Shocked to hear this sad news today. Cyrille was one of the names people of my age would pretend to be when playing as a kid.

?? We took about 3,000 in a crowd of 9,000 to Rochdale ??
What a bleak day that was. Keith Welch was in goal for them. We were shockingly poor after the euphoria of the Cov win, Regis and all.
I went to Spotland the following season in the league - attendance about 1,800 !
