I'd imagine we're collecting a few stragglers from the Saints as well...

We might collect a few MK stragglers if things continue as they are  Wink

Good work Cobbler78.

Your next challenge is to see if we can get three full sides of Cobblers for the visit of Rochdale. Given that they'll bring 253 means we can use the East Stand overflow for Cobblers fans.

Too soon.

Better challenge is to push for Oxford, so we don't offer them any of the East... which I guess we only do, if we can't sell it ourselves!

Great shout re the Oxford game, the fewer away fans they bring the bigger advantage for us, no matter how small the advantage.

Also, much like yesterday, it could be the day we leapfrog them in the league standings, what a cherry on the cake that would be.

Ive contacted Kelvin, he was very helpful with yesterday’s game.

Maybe it would be worth suggesting to the club about a "Double Moneysaver" Link the Oxford match on Sat 24th Feb with the Gillingham game on Tues 13th Feb. Night games in February are traditionally poor gates, so why not try selling a double ticket for both matches for , say, £35 ?

Interesting. Do we normally sell about 500 adult non season tickets for Tuesday games and 1000 adult tickets for Saturday games (loads more kids on Saturdays)

So 500 X £22 = £11k and 1000 X £22 = 22K

So they’d need to sell 943 joint tickets (£33k / £35) to make more money, might be a struggle.

Well done for your initiative and impetus towards yesterday's bumper home attendance, I believe that it was the primary reason our seasons highest.
Hopefully this encourages an increase for the Rochdale game and those following to Lancashire next week...  Wink

Why don't you and best mate KT show some balls and do it for the Rochdale game instead of waiting for a game with a traditionally large gate.
it had little or no impact yesterday, so do it when it would make a difference.
or, pretend you make a difference for the Oxford gate, as you think you did for yesterday's game and sleep easy in the belief this made up initiative actually worked.

Good idea, maybe the Trust could suggest it on our behalf?  Tongue Grin

This is a very good idea.

I remember they did this back in 2007ish for Scunny and Hereford at home. Might have only been in the North Stand though as that's where I sat but I'm usually in the West.

Gillingham & Oxford, perhaps combine with a food/drink voucher /discount?  (think beyond the money made from ticket sales)

Perhaps promote that buying Gillingham gets priority for Oxford, which may sellout?

Scrap the walk-up extra?  Round price down to £20?

Yes, exactly this. If people think the Oxford game will sell out, then they will be eager to secure a ticket. Best way of doing that, would be by saying if you buy a Gillingham Tuesday night ticket, you can also book your Oxford ticket before they go on general sale, and we'll throw in a small discount or a voucher for a pie and a beer at the Sixfield food outlets. The voucher might work better as people struggle for time to eat tea and get to the 7.45pm kick off after work, also the catering is inhouse catering now, so a £7 food/drink voucher wont actually cost the club £7 but the fans get a full £7 free meal & drink.

My job is saving money for the company I currently work for, I probably save them about 4-5 times my salary per year, I don't think they'd be too pleased about me leaving to be honest haha. Most of what I do for my current job and the ideas for Cobblers is just basic common sense really.
