I recently went to a sheff u game as it was bring a friend for a tenner day for their st holders
It's a good idea. I think it should be part of the perks when purchasing a season ticket, the ability to buy another discounted ticket for a set number of games. Any STH is likely to be a dedicated fan so no better advertising. If it wasn't for a mates dad taking me to the CG 30 odd years ago, I might never have caught the disease. Back then as a 12 year old, I had to jump over the turnstile though That links another chat on here about the attendances in the 80's. As GPC rightly points out, a scheme like this would need a bigger stadium as friends and groups usually like to be together and is one part of our tiny ground problem...... Lights fuse and legs it

Sad though this is I just took a look on the booking part of the website. It only shows 36 avaible single seats in home areas. No accounting for the away contingent though.
So well done on pushing this game and hopefully the performance matches. Be interesting to see if there are still plenty of empty seats 💺 and how this compares to what appears on the booking site and attendance figures.
Looking forward to trying to recognise the recent signings again and play guess the formation.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

I’m off to play football, so please let’s give this one final push get on Facebook and Twitter and get the #SellOutSixfields out there even more. More importantly, text/call a friend or two and get them to the game, after all what would be better than seeing Cobblers climb out of the relegation zone and sticking them lot from IKEA in it!!

Not sure if the club do a ticket re-sale system whereby they can sell any season ticket spaces that aren't going to be used etc.

Well done Cobbler78, this may or may not have made a difference, the upturn in form, local opponents, investment and this initiative probably all played a part in selling out sixfields. Now, if you didn't come across as being so pompous arrogant and never wrong , youd be much better received on here I'm sure

I’ve suggested this in the past but a tough call if we are not selling out. Even offering a £10 voucher for the club shop or towards the next ST. I’m sure they’ll be empty seats which could have been sold but financially wouldn’t make sense that buy back at the moment. Maybe they could offer it for selected games.

Pessimism on the the field will not match with optimism off. #Stayawayunlessyouwanttoseeusgetthumped?.. The message across all social media must remain positive at all times C78... Haha. Well done on this one, and I hope you Shoemaker boys won this morning.

Job done, well done everyone. Just shows what a bit of community spirit and sticking together as a club (Management, players and fans) can do, the last time we had this togetherness was the mid point of the 2015/16 season and we all know what happened then.
Anyway, this thread has served its purpose and proved some points to the doubters, let’s maybe try it again in a months time, it’s been fun.
Right, I suppose someone needs to update the easier games thread.....

Excellent crowd, good work from all those that encouraged the extras today. Hopefully they enjoyed it enough to come back. Great atmosphere too.

Well done to Cobblers 78 for starting the sell out Sixfields campaign. It's always better when the grounds full atmosphere wise and much needed extra revenue for the club.
