If this is true, then that has to go down as a mistake:

(From Wiki)
he scored four league goals for the side and his performance attracted interests from Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye, who had their £4 million bid rejected from Sc***horpe United.[38][39] Manager Graham Alexander confirmed that the bid was actually made and said the bid was rejected, citing his desire to keep him.

I prefer The Van Veen Machine!

I've 100% adopted this already!

It also goes with this song:

You're a van Veen goal machine
Oh do you know what I mean?
You're a van Veen goal machine
And I love you

Or something along those lines.

There are so many strikers who have done ok here from J English to Frank Large then thru' to Akenfenwa perhaps even Ricky Holmes. We have had our share of disappointing goal scorers. I would not mind betting that we have had our share of decent goal strikers compared with other  L1 and L2 clubs?

Didn't someone say that it's pronounced vane?

Welcome Kevin, hope you go on to prove that scunny's mistake of not offering you a new deal is our gain... though listening to this I can't help wondering if your only here for the £££££s. Prove us all wrong KVV.

He is only 26yrs and might well have some resell value. Of course he is here for the dosh, that is a decent contract =  gives peace of mind, family stability, feel good factor etc etc!

Seeing as there is talk about pronunciation, I thought I'd point out the V in van isn't capitalised. I expect to see KvV or Kevin van Veen used from now on. you can copy and paste it if you want.

Dutch 'van' is never capitalised.
Flemish (Belgian) 'Van' is always capitalised.

Every day is a school day.

I really can't wait till Moloney leaves.
