Is it just me or do we do exactly the same with ever throw in and free kick ? Every throw goes down the line for JJOT to flick on. Every free kick is aimed at Ash or JJ on the far post, one of us should send JFH a copy of the Champions DVD to see a few variations for free kicks and how they can work. Whilst I'm on, why on earth do we not mark opposition players when they have a throw or have 2 players on alert for a short corner, that's school boy stuff ?

Throw ins was one of many issues pointing at bad management by Jimmy on Saturday. It’s one of the most basic parts of the game, we should always look to keep possession through movement and or planned training. Then again if like on Saturday we were mostly unable to string one pass together maybe throw ins are quite a way down the to do list right now.

Every goal kick was also aimed towards JJOT hoping he'd get a flick on......Rochdale knew this and put a defender in front and another behind him.
With the throws there were a few opportunities when we could have taken a quick one......but instead the nearest player left the throw to the "designated" taker, and we lined up with JJOT trying to flick those on too.
Where was the plan B?

I believe plans A, B and possibly C are one and the same when it comes to throw ins.

What else is predictable is giving teams their first away win of the season. We've done that before.
