Go and vote for him. Also enjoy this quote from JJ on why he is not getting booked as much this season (from BBC article): Former Watford, Colchester and Bristol Rovers man O'Toole says his improved disciplinary record could be down to his more advanced role. "I can't really put my finger on it," he said. "Maybe I'm out of that middle bit (of the pitch), where I don't see as much as maybe I would do if I was playing centre midfield. I'm a little bit further up now, but it's good. It's something I guess I needed to address (discipline) but I don't see referees getting any better."

Fair play to JJOT for the nomination but it does annoy me that only players that score goals predominantly get nominated . Centre halves , full backs and keepers rarely get recognition

He won, so all is forgiven. Agree on the above though, it is goal scorer biased.

I think the previous winner was Wigans Centre Back, Dan Burns.
Thoroughly deserved John Joe. Fantastic month.

Correct Ricky Holmes January 2016 and it was Bayo November 2012 before that.

Only one player from the championship season? Disgraceful.

Good point! Considering we'd won every game in November and all but one (draw) in February you'd have thought we'd have had at least a couple more. Though Wilder did win MOTM in all three of those months. Now the question is...when/who will be the next Cobbler winning a monthly?!
