This will be an extremely tricky game. They're really flying at the moment, and are second in the form table.

Nonsense, they are 13th and therefore bottom half of the table so an easier game!

Correct, this is one of the easier games we’ll have this season. 2-0 KVV and JJOT

I make their away record since the start of November, 4 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats. This will be a very tough game for us.

Sc unthorpe on the other hand is actually quite winnable, they are on shocking form and add the Van Veen factor to it and its got away win written all over it!  Grin

Back to tomorrow though, without knowing what Gillingham's perceived strengths are its difficult to know whether or not we should stick with precisely the same side. They are a side bang on form, who will see the next 3 or 4 games as a chance for them to join the push for a play off position. I suspect that they will come here and attack us which should make for a very decent game hopefully.

Id take a point tomorrow, and go for three on Saturday!

It's win win for your system really. If we win, they remain bottom half and we've won an easier game. If we lose, they (probably) move up to the top half and we've lost a harder game. You must be very excited.

It’s a real treat isn’t it. Either way, this is a game we should win.

I believe they have been playing with the two big lads up top Parker and Eaves. Taylor and Turnbull will certainly be tested aerially. I know Hoskins and Powell did well on Saturday but I would like to see Ariyibi start for Hoskins (as long as he gets played wide!).

Stick with a winning team for me, so the same eleven that started at AFC on Saturday.

Tough game as they have been in form, be nice to see Zak again but hope he doesn't get the abuse he got at the away game.

Hope the old players curse doesn't strike, we need the points!

Big games elsewhere at the bottom end effecting us(Oldham vs MK, Bury vs Southend,  hopefully if results go our way we can pull further away from the relegation places.

Actually, Parker is not a big lad, but he has a turn of pace allied with unfortunately a football brain. Eaves is a big lump and was subbed against us as somewhat ineffective! Your point is correct that this may well be a difficult fixture. Incidentally, Hoskins gave their fullback the runaround at Gillingham and as he did well on Saturday would not (imo) drop him. I also think JHF may well bring Berto on when Hoskin tires. Happy to be wrong!

Alternatively, Cobbler78 could have a disastrous day at the office if we win say 1-0, but Oxford get beat by 3 goals…and thus the Gills move into the top half of the table on goal difference despite losing.

So many permutations. Is it an easy game, is it a hard game?

I’ll help you out, it’s one of the 10 EASIEST games of the season, in my opinion.

Cobblers win and Oxford lose? Just need MK to lose and that'll be one successful Tuesday.
