Paul Merson says the same about the Premier League, what’s your point?

I think it will be the same starting line up as Saturday .
One thing that confirms is that despite all the protestations we had no wide players prior to January - look who we have ended up settling for in the advanced positions .....
Two players that were already here .....

Oh come on.......try harder......when have you not known JFH to make at least 4 changes to line ups from one game to the next?  Grin

Seriously......it should be the same side that played against the Wombles.......but we have a big squad, can make changes, and its the Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday effect. The poor petals aren't built like the old guys....some of them struggle with three hours hard work a week!!  Smiley

I firmly believe Long was rested with Tuesday in mind. I can see him coming in, and the rest staying as is.

Jimmy’s hinting at having to manage particular players workloads - I would imagine the only changes he may make would be Ariyibi for Powell and long for van veen but I hope he can select the same side.

Stick with a winning team for me, so the same eleven that started at AFC on Saturday.

Tough game as they have been in form, be nice to see Zak again but hope he doesn't get the abuse he got at the away game.

Hope the old players curse doesn't strike, we need the points!

Big games elsewhere at the bottom end effecting us(Oldham vs MK, Bury vs Southend,  hopefully if results go our way we can pull further away from the relegation places.
Given the amount of times he played I’m amazed anyone recognised him?

I would say the one player’s work load that needs
monitoring is JJOT .
It’s a brave man that rests him but I think VV and Long might start .

I agree that jjot needs wrapping in cotton wool but I fear for the psychological effect if he gets rested given our record with/without him.

Yes , of course that is true - JJOT is a massive player for us but it is clear he is being pushed to his physical limits .
When JFH talks about looking after certain players in the busy schedule , who else could he be talking about if it’s not JJOT ? Maybe Powell and Moloney if they are returning from injury .

Try this form guide

clickety click

Lots of hard looking games but some easier too. I hope we don't get an easier game against a team who sees us as easy. The world may implode.... Smiley

Very difficult to even hazard a guess at selection as JFH has confounded many of us recently. He may rest Powell and JJOT! Maybe play both Long and vV? I look fwd to team news with trepidation and excitement👀

I can see a bit of tinkering here...wouldn't be surprised to see JJOT rested from the start and KvV and Long start together for the first time.

Likely to be a tricky evening ahead - let's hope the cold and the televised goings on in Europe don't keep too many punters away.
