It’s your opinion but why do you say this? You are an inveterate critic of both team and manager but what is it based on? If you are an armchair critic that’s fine. If however you base it on coaching badges or a professional fiootball career then it sheds some light on the credibility of your opinion(critical). So what is it?

I am critical Nevers and have every right to be - my opinion is based on facts (Where as yours most of the time is plucked out of the air and seen through your claret tinted specs). I am a realistic enough to say and know that these players and our manager our "professionals" and if they cannot take a bit of stick from 500 or so supporters then they are in the job or need to grow some balls!

Thanks for your reply- nobody is questioning your right to an opinion. I have asked what is your criticism based on? You haven’t explained although you are pretty quick to ‘rubbish’ others opinion , including mine of course. If it helps you I accept your criticism! What is the criteria of your criticism? Is it based on coaching badges or ex professional football experience.
I don't get why you're banging on about coaching badges, he's on about players attitude to stick from the crowd

Do you have any of the above? Just a question.

Their away record is pretty good and they would get plenty of stick from those grounds. Perhaps we should recreate that atmosphere at home games by everyone booing them except a small group in the corner of a stand.

What on earth does having a coaching badge have to do with voicing criticism?

If you aren't an ex professional footballer or hold a variety of coaching badges you aren't allowed to express discontent? Give me strength.

The Cobblers players have massively under performed nearly all season at Sixfields if they don't like criticism do better. The crowds have held up surprisingly well considering the dross on offer so if the paying fans (you know the ones that help pay the precious little daisies wages) want to let them know they don't think they are getting value for money then so what.

What on earth would our players and management be like at a club with less apathetic fans than ours?

As if , like you I am an armchair supporter!

Can you clarify "armchair supporter"? I was under the impression that you went to some games, not that I'd think any less of you or your opinion if you didn't.

You seem to like trying to belittle people, so why not start a separate thread for it? Your quotidian snipes (I'm not talking about malaria Wink ) are much more annoying than anything else on this forum, having them in one place would be beneficial for the community.

Back on thread topic, JFH thinks VV should be available for Saturday after an injection (worrying):

The difference is you are not a diehard critic of players and management. Glastonbury is non stop; so I merely thought he might give some credence to his criticism. If he is merely an armchair fan like me that’s fine!

I'm surprised there actually aren't more 'critics' in this vein, and not many people could surely argue it wouldn't be merited.

Massive signs of improvement lately (away from home anyway) but this really is the most 'spineless' Cobblers team we have had for years. Despite some talent sprinkled around there are so many players that just seem too delicate to be up for the relegation fight.

Any danger of discussing the Rotherham at home game or have I misread the title?

As soon as permission is granted for fans to express happiness / discontent (delete as applicable) I'm sure the thread will revert back  Grin

If KVV is back that is cracking news, I'm guessing he wouldn't be a starter but a great option to bring on.

The injection sounds like they are doing everything they can to get him back quickly, but I'm no medical expert so it could just be standard procedure.

I hope he is, as it means we can have Poole back in the squad hopefully. I cannot understand how him and McWilliams cannot get in the team, especially at home where we have been so poor.

One step closer to having out double Dutch strikeforce!

Hopefully we'll see both Van Veen and Luckassen share duties whilst they both regain full fitness.

I've got a very bad feeling about KVV, ligament damage takes ages to fully recover.. Longs walking a tightrope with bookings. Its all up to the Luckmeister!!!!

Long has only had 4 bookings all season...admittedly they've all come in the last 6 games after not picking up a single one in his first 28 games for us!! What/why the change?

No fear of a ban, only Grimes is walking the tightrope having been sat on 9 yellows since the Gillingham home game. If he plays and picks up a yellow on Saturday he'll get a 2 game ban, otherwise he stays clean and is allowed 6 more before the end of the season.

Just a question to throw out there.......if KvV is fit for Saturday, and JFH picks 2 strikers, which two would you play? If he persists with one who would/should that be?

The one which worked on Saturday; vV only if needed! Wouldn't risk Grimes either. I can see JFH tactics now; big hoof to Lucky a la Bayo!

Long/Lucky no question but Hass very rarely starts 2 strikers.

Long and Lucky for me, worst thing we could do is rush VV. Looking forward to seeing if Lucky measures up to the Bayo comparisons, if he is half as good as Bayo then that will be a decent find by JFH for us.

Would have thought that after Saturday he will start with the side that finished on Saturday plus JJOT! Sadly I am no expert on selection so it's only an opinion!

For once I agree if we don't start 2 strikers against Rovrum I will curl up in my blanket and cry..We need wins not draws.
