I called it on seeing the starting 11 today. It's not a call I make lightly.

Howevet enough is enough, mind numbing negativity and tactical ineptness pasonifiyed.

To stand any sort of a chance he needs to go now!

Any new manager would need time to sort things out, so forget sacking JFH. However, I fully understand your feelings because today wasn't good enough. More tinkering by putting Perreira in central midfield when we have at least 2 decent central midfielders to replace Crooks (Foley and McWilliams) and still giving teams too much time and space. We still don't seem to want it enough.

I doi agree that a manager needs time, But in my eyes he has had enoughtime by now,. in defence we are very poor, I'm sorry but he m,ust go. NOW.

4 pieces of advice for Jimmy

1) Please only drop players if they're playing badly or there is a real need to change formation. A big part of our problem is players not gelling because of too much chopping and changing.
2) Get your players "at it" in all matches from the first minute. That is basic management and the very least us fans expect. We only looked to have real urgency when the substitutes came on.
3) Bunney may turn into a left back but he is not one yet and he is costing us dearly. Please put Buchannan in the team.
4) We have cover in every position, so please play players in their correct position.

When you factor in the budget his been given as well to sign virtually a whole new team. Shocking imo

Nice to see Alex Winter put JFH on the spot a bit today in his interview today, although his answers don't fill me with hope.

Agreed, Jimmy out!!

He's had time......he's had 38 games and won just 10.....he's had a transfer window and brought in a lot of players......

But we are as bad as ever. I defy anyone to say today was better than Edinburgh games, or better than Page games. Whats more there is no sign of improvement.

Same tactics, one up front and two strikers on the bench?? Moloney over Facey? Powell in from nowhere.....Bunney?? Don't effing start me on Bunney! Hilderberto in a holding midfield role? Hoskins? Why!!

I'm sorry....but boring, passionless football, ill disciplined players, lack of tactics, effort, skill, thought, energy, urgency, anything else you care to add, I just see nothing from JFH.

He blames the fans, he blames the refs, he blames the opposition, but he thinks he does no wrong, and that we're little old Northampton and are already punching above our weight.

Hasselblank out!!

Difficult to disagree with any of this. JFH fills me with zero confidence that he can get us out of the mess he has created.

Face it: it's not going to happen. There's no way that KT will pull the trigger with 9 games left having invested so heavily in January.

As a fanbase we have to be very pragmatic now.

1. It is still very much mathematically possible that we can stay up. 4 wins out of 9 would get us to 51 points, which would have been enough to stay up in every one of the last ten years.
2. The Fleetwood game is absolutely huge. A win there would land us points and land a massive psychological blow on a rival.
3. JFH has proved a tactical clown, no doubt; but we're stuck with him until the end and, as hard as it is to stomach, we need to stop the boos and exemplify the fight which we want the team to show.

When I think about what I'd like to see from Jimmy now, the key word is simplicity. My overall impression is of a man who has played on the highest stage who is forever overcomplicating matters at this level.

If we were to do the following....
1. Play a proper defender (Buchanan) at left back
2. Play a central midfielder who can actually tackle (McWilliams)
3. Try playing 442 with 2 up front at home (one up seems to be working OK away)
4. Avoid playing players hideously out of position e.g. Perrerira as a central midfielder

..then I'd be reasonably confident that we'd get some results.

My sentiments exactly.

Before today, I was 100% in thinking that whatever happens this season, we stick with him going into next season. But that changed this afternoon.

If the football club wants to stand any chance of staying in league1 beyond May, our only hope is to throw the dice, bring in a troubleshooter (Cotterill would be my choice) to the end of the season and HOPE for some kind of reaction from the players and a successful honeymoon period.

It might not work, the last 3 managers have all ultimately been terrible…but like I say its our only chance/hope.

His obsession with Bunney effectively means we are playing every game with 10 players. And don't get me started on Grimes, Id have sent him back on the 1st January.

So frustrating. I won't be going on Tuesday night if he's still in charge; haven't got to this point for many many seasons. I've seen terrible sides in about 9 of the 30 years I've been going week in week out…this 'lot' is the most disjointed side of the lot. Mentally fragile, not anywhere near enough 'big' personalities who will shake up their team mates into action. We've never had a season where we have seen so many terrible terrible performances…its horrible to see. JFH spent January signing some really decent players 'on paper' but not a 'Jason Taylor type' in site. He got it very very wrong.

JFH OUT.

So would I mate, so would I.

But the FACT IS is that JFH sees things very very differently. For that reason he needs to go. Now!

I agree. I'd like him to go, but I just can't see KT doing it.

I agree completely on Grimes BTW: playing a 'deep-lying' playmaker like him is symptomatic of JFH's tendency to overcomplicate. Grimes is a 'luxury' that we simply can't afford at the moment. Personally I'd drop him and play McWilliams and Foley - at least you'd get some fight.

His had ample opportunity to do any of these both today and for the last few weeks and gas failed to address the issues that 95% can see week in week out. What on earth makes you think he will going forward?
