Same team/formation please other than McWilliams in for JJ and Long/Lucky in for van Veen who looked in a lot of pain when he came off last night.

It's about time the Cod had their chips. I only hope we don't miss a fritter in front of the net. Peas turn up in numbers!

I’m pretty sure that long had a spell at Fleetwood a while back - might be worth a go?

Surely the need of not having to listen to the home goal music is incentive enough to keep a clean sheet

Same formation as last night but with the following changes
McWilliams in for JJOT
Lucky in for Mathis - holds the ball up and gets on with it.
Keep VV and replace with Long if not fit
Start with Ariyibi over Hilda ( who for me has disappointed )

So far more tinkering than JFH has ever been guilty of then!

Yes, that Captain Pugwash ditty is irritating. Always found Burton Albion's more annoying tbf!

No , only two unforced changes , both of whom improved the team last night when they came on .
Ariyibi is a good player and a threat . Lucky for me is a much better player than Mathis .
McWilliams is a forced change .

Same team again if we can, with McWilliams or Foley replacing JJ the only change that needs to be made.

If VV is injured again then Lucky can replace him.

Ariyibi will probably feel hard done by but we can utilise his pace from the bench if we need.

This is our biggest away game since Shrewsbury 93. Unfortunately I have a very bad feeling.
We haven't beaten them away and I think they'll be up for it. I think we haven't even scored there. 3 visits and 3 losses. 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0

I really hope its not battered Cobb

Same team except maybe Mcwilliams for JJOT and start Aryibi. I think Long should start as well if fit. The 3-5-2 looked good.

Prediction 2-1 The Luckmeister 88th min

I agree that McWilliams should replace JJOT but I would bring in Foley instead of Hilda as we need to be more solid in midfield. The remainder would be as per the Shrewsbury game. I just hope that they show the commitment they showed last night. That might just get us a result although history is against us. I am looking forward to the trip with a large dose of apprehension.

.......................... I am looking forward to the trip with a large dose of apprehension.

So am I - we have not scored up there in three visits let alone get a point. Based on Tuesday's effort would only swap Long or Lucky for vV who appears not match fit. Would not select McWilliams in place of JJOT as prefer Foley or Poole(if available), just don't think McWilliams is a suitable replacement for JJOT. So only two enforced changes could be one if vV pronounced fit....is this acceptable Coolie as me no tinkerman?

I can't wait for the Fleetwood manager to read the scouts report.

Erm, they might play 4-5-1, which sometimes looks like a 4-4-1-1. Maybe they'll go 3-5-2.

Their left back could be a weakness. But he could also be really good. KvV might play, or Lucky, or Long, or maybe Mathis. O'Toole and Crooks is suspended, so you'll probably come up against Grimes and McWilliams, or Hilda, or Foley, or Poole.

Regarding the playing style, they'll either start by sitting deep or start on the front foot.

It really isn't is it! Chesterfield and countless others came after! Walsall might be a contender though!

Why do people say Poole (if available), he's not injured is he? I certainly haven't heard he is.

This is our biggest away game since Shrewsbury 93.
It isn't because just a couple of years ago we played Dagenham away in a must win match to stay in the entire league.
We also played at Wembley to get into the second tier of football. That was quite big.
